As said one or two pages back, week 48 is the week that some with contacts in SE have said will be the week, lets just hope there are no delays...
3 more weeks...
(and a weekend... eh.. but who remembers a weekend?)

Actually, it was info from two sources:
First, a guy from Whatmobile forums. After, the info he gave was confirmed by a SE person that talked to All About Symbian at the Symbian Smartphone Show in London.

Looks like the same situation when the customers were waiting for the P990i.
Now the end users are waiting for another firmware update and it is all pure speculation again.

I seem to have the R5 FW after updating via SEUS but a friend of mine has R7. My phone was brought from CPW last week, his from Orange about 3 weeks ago. Is it possible that Orange already had R7 loaded onto their handsets at that time??
edit . . .
so I upgraded the firmware again and it has not gone up to R7. Do you have to upgrade one step at a time then?? And it would have been really REALLY nice if the damn software had mentioned that it was going to do a complete reset and remove all of my Contacts, appointments and applications!!!!!

useing SEUS? It does warn you to do a backup as all your data will be removed...and you have to click confirm twice.... |
