To all Prepaid users:
0916 normally no GPRS signal (siguro naman alam nyo yon kung Ericsson users kayo, sa Nokia hindi mo kita and signal) nokia
my experience old globe 0917 specially explore have GPRS signal (thats is why they introduce myglobe=no GPRS )
old globe 0917 (not explore) have GPRS signal (that is why they introduce 0916 and hey... may promo ... P270.00 na lang ang Globe (sorry 0196 ito) ... at ... meron pa ... isang chicken MCDo (again 0916) ...
what do you think they do a lot of promotion
I smell something fishy
Sorry isda nga pala ang ulam ko kangina.

NokiaKilla is right. Old 0917 globe prepaid lines have their GPRS unlocked, so if you have an old 0917 globe, then you're good to go for GPRS and MMs, until they start charging us anyway.
Speaking of charges, anyone have the latest when globe will be charging us poor folks for our GPRS and MMS consumptions?

Rumors about globe plans has so far been silent on charges for prepaid access to GPRS (tactel mms servers has already been blocked)

when i got my fon i tried using gprs w the settings globe sent me but it didnt work. i thought that because i was on prepaid but alas! 1 week ago, i trued it again and it works!!! wow! sakit na tuloy thumb ko kakapindot! haha! tagal na rin tong sim ko, explore pa.
tip: f u hav someone na katxt and he/she has gprs and a yahoo! account, mag yahoo!messenger na lang kayo sa cel nyo w gprs!!! too bad it doesnt have auto refresh to know if you have a new message! you just have to check it constantly. but its free, di ba? walang bawas sa credits mo like if you text. |

I cannot connect using my globe prepaid card anymore but I can still connect using my postpaid card. I still have gprs signal but I still cant connect. Did globe stop supporting prepaid users? Does anybody have the same problem? |
