I upgraded with vodafone a month ago. The deal i got was: 100 X net mins, 50 texts and a k750 FOC for 7.50 a month.Not bad.So i thought!!!

I am just wondering if its too late to cancel (so i cud haggle a better deal), cos some of the deals you guys are getting are pretty amazing.

If vodafone do offer similar deals, can anyone tell me if i its possible to cancel my current contract, because I have passed the 14 day cooling off period.

Thanks

Mizanure, I'd have a look through the contract you were given when you signed up. Failing that, give them a call. :-)

wow m8cky, hope its the same case wiv me! Do u get a paper bill? Mines all online. Also maybe you heard wrong and you're getting a £15 discount rather than £15/month? She told me my tariff was £25 and they were giving me a £10 discount on my line rental.

Mizanur: theres not much you can do I don't think. You are out of your cooling off period and therefore you are bound with your contract with them for 12 months (or if its an 18month contract, 18 months). The only way you can end your contract is to pay off your line rental for the whole contract period.

@Sunj,

I think you might be right. I remember the girl saying I was getting a £15 discount and that will make it £15 per month. Looks like she made a mistake

I'm thinking of getting the gold insurance now, anyone got any good/bad experiences??

they made a mistake on my bill where they charged me for the texts, but a quick call sorted that out. So I'd check all your online bills carefully.

oh, and m8cky...i doubt you will have got 10 quid line rental. Check your next months bill

Can someone please tell me what ammo to go with to O2, I was just upgrading and complained that a simple upgrade to the K750i would be £79.99. The lady then straight away offered me it for £29.99, 3 months with £10 off my current tarriff (online 100).

Trouble is they are good for matching deals but I don't know any deals to hit them with.

I accepted her offer but I can obviously cancel first thing tomorrow. Please help , help very much appreciated.

Well I called up, i must say they did not argue much for a good deal, maybe I should have haggled some more. She offered me 500xnet mins, 200 text messages for £15 a month. I was pretty happy.

damo,

That's an alright deal, as you will see from my earlier posts I ended up with the following:

K750I FOC
500 text
500 mins
£15 per month (which has turned out to be £10 per month)

My girlfriends contract ends today so guess who'll I'll be calling later

I don't know how you got 500 texts as the woman said she did not even have that on her system to offer, most she was able to do and that was with management auth was 300. 200 texts as a free bundle and 100 as a loyalty thing. I mean at the end of the day I won't go over that anyway so I'm happy and still only paying £15 a month.

She said there is a deal that is 500 mins xnet off peak and 500 texts but that was no use to me.

Also M8cky is yours still a managed online deal? Or is yours standard paper billing etc and call )2 from your handset for free.
