Hi mate, now haven`t changed the cover, but the front comes with no logo, the back cover comes with a SE logo at top..

Thats how I like it understated but elegant... Its a shame the Z800 is going to have this MASSIVE QuickShare™ sticker...never was fond of that word..
Well I will pay for my housing on Monday and it should be with me in a few days I guess by the end of the week, pretty cheap as well 24€

Wow, this is great news!!
I wanted that Vodafone logo of my phone since november. I even try to scratch it off with mt keys.. but that didnt help much. Anyway these unbranded covers are worth every euro for me.. Just like the Marques says, its so much better without the Z800's "Quickshare" logo on the front.
I wonder when they are going to sell the other two colours.. I doubt that those will be available(unbranded) |

Is it just me or does anyone think the Vodofone UI is a little better? I changed me firmware last week and am really happy with the SE stuff, all but the main menu.
When it was Voda the icons used to 'explode' out from the centre when you press the menu button, and bob around when highlighted....the SE ones are a little dull in comparrison! Still the rest of the menu's are much better! Mayb in future FW releases they will make it a little better! |

So you prefer voda menu icons? In desktop?
Would you like these back? It is possible to restore at least 2 out of the 12 icons. I will have a look to see if i can find the others. |

Hmmm, well I like the SE icons better, just like the way the Voda ones 'exploded' onto the screen and animated......still well happy with the SE ones though....
Oh, and while i'm here, I PM'd you Gbrook3.....you know the script you wrote to change the name of the Z800 on the latest firmware....what exactly does it change it to? Does it change it to V800 so the phone will synch with outlook and use the standard windows drivers? Or is there an alternative?!

True lol, but the song`s sound just as good as it did in my old "V800":)
The sound can be adjusted louder it seems, than it was possible on my old "V800" |

I have a problem. I tried to unlock my V800 with DSS-25 using Davinci 12.5 client, and it almost worked... It got stuck in phase 3 after 99% completion.  I left it there for well over an hour but nothing happened. Phone still works fine, no problem. Now I want to try again, but now when I press "unlock", it says "Power on the phone" and it normally beeps once (notifying beep that tells you you have to do something), but now it keeps beeping. If I turn on the phone it will actually turn on rather than the Davinci client overtaking the power on process and start unlocking my phone.
Who knows how I can get this fixed? I already tried to remove battery, put on different computer, and change com-ports. So far no luck. |

have you talked to davinci yet? Do they have a solution or history of this happening??
I too like the way the voda icons 'slide' in place on the desktop....... but not enough to not debrand the phone
