emanuelj give it a rest 
asking every 2 to 3 hours is not going to make anybody run any faster, besides I believe those themes are on  Fun & Downloads page as well why don;t you check there?
gbrooks: after falshing with generic original firmware from setool, is it possible to upgrade the firmware with the regular online update (provided they will offer one for Z800)?
Sorry if it's been asked already  i haven't quite memorized the thread yet

Asumming there will be then sure. We just need to change CDA number to a generic one

Shame I need to wait.... but that gives me time to get the DSS sync station then 
(and perhaps read up on my insurance to see if it needs to be flashed back should I ever need to send it in.....)

I seriously hope they release the Jap version asap, I doubt it very much though as Vodafone seemed to be the carrier that took it over there anyway I will wait and see how much I like the new upgrade. |

Hi themarques,
someone posted over at Howards, that the only way to get Japanese support was to reflash the z800 with the Japanese Vodafone firmware...
I do not know these things well, but what do you think about that?
It seems so hard to get an unlocked Japanese model V800 and use it in the UK..

I have already checked and it is only v800 theme.
Is it so hard to take them over usb or bluetooth, memorystick and upload them?
I don't think so.

Yes the ones on SE's site only work on the V800/Z800 they do not and will never work on your Z1010. |

besides the topic is for software... not themes... and 'damned' has just made you less popular. We are not here to cater to your wishes alone. Besides there is a large subforum for themes and tones and stuff.
Why won;t Z800 themes work on Z1010 though, they have the same proportions. Else download them from http://www.sonyericsson.com and open them in Theme Creator as z1010 theme and the theme creator will convert them and you can put them on your Z1010. Since you want them so badly make some effort for crying out loud 
By the way: the V800 firmware specific animated flying bubbles themes will not work on Z1010 because the Z1010 firmware does not support them.
What's the current (latest) Z800 firmware by the way?

although i have not checked today. We are using 11 but there is 13 out.
