voice dialing is working perfectly with my bluetooth headset. but if u wanna use voice answer and caller name. u can use mp3 ringtone as your ringing tone.
but before u activate the voice answer, they will prompt you about this.

In r2l on my phone, you can't use voice answer via  anyway. Under environments, there is no option. I can't remember if it was there under r2a. Is that just me?

Just stepped out me my local service point. They told me that R2L was still current, but they expected a new one 'imminently'

relax dude, it's an official firmware upgrade in service center. it's just the matter of time.

Got a bug after I upgraded my phone. When I want to send a sms, I can't find all of my contacts in my adress book when going to send. If I look in the adress book, the name and number is there. |

send back to the service center again... ask them to reflash it.

new firmware R2AE seem to be more stable and fixed some bug from R2L. according to some users new firmware give a better photo quality too.
if u do not face any problem with R2L. advise u not to upgrade it.

i have had mine upgraded to the newest one from 02 which comes with all the branding, there is a search thing in the phone book now which is good.

i have an o2 not branded phone (startup shows SE logo) I went to the upgrade site but i did the upgrade and everything went ok but it didn't upgrade to the newest one that you guys talking about and it still has the R2L on it? is there something that i can do about it? I am in Cambridge UK anyone knows a SE service store? thanks a lot. |

@dimm, Sad to say but the SE Update Service ironically NEVER GETS UPDATED. It's reliability is still suspect up to now! It still has r2l in it even though there's a new fw already on EMMA2..What a shame this is for se.

Itīs not a shame to SE to have it in EMMAII first. You people suck! Thatīs why SE have to code the flashing different to EMMAII.
So hang on and wait until itīs out or go to a service center. |

just going through this thread I found only sunjivas who updated to R2AE in CPW. So hopefully there are more

@vee--You know more about your back channels than I do; I'm not going to touch that.
So one person that we know of has gotten R2AE, and they got it from CPW, not an  servicepoint... Hopefully the service points will have it soon; I think the guy at my local one is starting to think I'm weird for asking all the time...
