Perhaps you should name your mobile 'Typhoid Mary'!

Being the modest chap that i am, im not going to draw attention to the fact that im on almost everyones "would like to meet" list, but what i am going to do is say that this whole esato meeting club thing sounds in theory to be a good idea, but what would you do? Its been mentioned already about different age groups, that rules out Spearmint Rhino, and i cant really see the older members wanting to hang out at a swingpark. So, what about an activity day. tenpin bowming, 7-a-side football (thats soccer, kim), a big meal at, say, pizza hut, nothing too posh, go-karting, etc! Or a day out at a Theme park!

That's a jolly good idea, I rather like the ten bowling one myself, or the meal, mind you, the theme park could be a good showing too.
Why do I feel that you were thinking of me when you wrote that?

no, no, i wasntthinking of you, its just that it could well turn out to be a cognac and cigars evening that would cost a fortune, a lot of people arent really into that sort of thing, and a lot dont have that kind of money. I dont think it would be as much fun as having a few activities to choose from, everyone can band together, and still do their own thing.

I actually agree with you! I was thinking of paintballing actually, but I think it is a tad on the costly side. Perhaps a meal or somethin in that line isn't out of the question.

Fifty odd thousand multiplied by London prices equals ... a lot!

To be honest, london is a bad idea. far. far too pricy, and not all that easy to get to. What about Brum? or Glasgow?

Well I second the movement for Glasgow!
Perhaps we could even have 'regional clubs', if there are enough members within specific areas, who could meet up for a drink, etc.

I'm sure Laffen would agree that loyalty is much more important
Down my local boozer
£2.56 x 52335 - 1 = £133975.04
I'd buy Laffens |

How generous of you!

Are we any further forward in organising a meeting? I think we should try and establish some organisation here, perhaps we should have a vote (not a popular concept by some accounts ) on where to hold a meeting. If we can agree on a few possible locations and activities then we could have everyone vote on it and let it be decided that way.
