@welsh uk
If Bush is re-elected then he has no more election worries, he can feel free to do whatever he wants.
Come on Kerry!

Once it is official I will be changing it to "Four more years of ignorance and murder."
I agree. I think this is proof that fear CAN win an election though.

As incomprehensible as it may seem to us, there obviously must be large numbers of people in the U.S. who genuinely believe that Bush is a good choice for President.

However if it was just confined to America then i wouldnt care less who gets in but what people dont seem to understand is that this election affects the whole world not just their country

Well, it's both.
Americans are afraid that their (our) country is under attack. And it is. Our freedoms are being attacked by the current Administration, but everyone is under the impression it is terrorism. I don't recall being attacked since Sept. 11th, and even then it was minuscule compared to the 15,000 (or so) Iraqis that have been murdered since the beginning of this shit storm.
Americans are also very ignorant, and believe that what is happening in Iraq is a good thing. They think that the invasion was a result of Saddam Hussein's evil dictatorship, and not the result of a wealty and ignorant oil man (who is also president) wanting control of Iraq's energy reserves; they don't see that Haliburton is stealing from them; they don't care that 5-times the Iraqis have died in this situation as have Americans - AND THE IRAQIS DIDn"T EVEN HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SEPT. 11TH.
Americans are stupid, don't get me wrong. They (not we - they, I'm not all that stupid) have been brainwashed into thinking Bush is going to protect them. But the truth is Bush is pissing the rest of the world off, in turn making the hate toward America grow.
Americans think force is the way to get something they want or need. They don't consider that there might be a better way.
Bush sucks; you know it and I know it. It's too bad more Americans don't kow it.

It's ironic I suppose; America rebelled against Britain because we took actions, which effected Americans and they had no say in the political process governing those actions, now they take actions, which effect us and we have no say in the political process governing their actions.

The only logical solution: The world should attack the US. (Just let me get out first.)

@richy - careful what you wish for - another 4 years of that nut, and the rest of the world WILL be wanting to take the US out - which is a shame, the actions of one president is making his country more of a target of terrorism, not less. And the US I'm afraid to say will become more of an international hate figure over the next 4 years, espeically if they become more isolationist.
And I think the threat of more 9/11s and terrorism are overstated, if Al-Quida and their mates were going to do something else, they'd have done it ages ago, and we would have had many more attacks, perhaps including some in the UK. They would have attacked say, on Christmas day or something.

I don't give a shit... Bomb the hell out of the US. I invite it.
Like I said, just let ME get out first. I didn't vote for that bastard, and I don't agree with a damn thing he's doing (except the Head Start education program for poor children - there's some merit in that).
EDIT: That isn't necessarily true... I don't support the murder of anyone, American or not. I just want Americans to get a taste of their own medicine.

Its also ironic that the Americans helped in the funding of terrorists (I.R.A) against the british without any worries for years then want our help when it happens to them

The sad fact of the matter is that another Bush term will only serve to further polarize the world. Thankfully the system we have in the UK means that Blair knows that he can't just keep supporting Bush in whatever he does. If Blair keeps going down that road then he may find himself winning the enxt election, but with such a small majority that he can't get anything done.
Power blocs are developing because of Bush's isolationism, to the point where Europe is now starting to position itself as a credible rival to the U.S. as is China. Instead of more cooperation it seems that we are heading for another era of power blocs, stand-offs, jockeying for position and pointless arguments.
