How did you get it on contract if you are only 16? You have to be over 18 the get a contract phone.

If a 16 year old takes their parents with them then its ok for them to go on a contract with a network.

Same as Staz said i got my parents to get it for me!!
As for the phone the only problem i have encountered is people with rings on their fingers scratch the metal surounding the camera, not really a major problem but ive got a few minor scartches on mine and ive only had it 2 weeks. |

I've asked a similar question before, but:
I'm upgrading from P900 to S700i (I think....the P910i's extra features aren't worth it for me, because I have seperate MP3 player so don't need extra storage)
It will cost me a fair bit more to get the phone on O2, however I hear that they leave their phones unbranded. My other option is to go for Vodafone and save about £70. Is the branding issue worth it?
2ndly, does the S700i have the same sort of light feature that the K700i has for photos?
3rdly, (this is quite an odd question) I have an iRiver H320 Mp3 player, which allows digital cameras to be connected str8 to it via USB and store pictures on it's memory (it has 262k colour screen ) Compatability issues have been raised with some cameras, I was wondering if u thought it would be possible to do this with the S700i? Needs a standard USB port as far as I'm aware. I'm only looking for an educated guess, no worries if u can't help much!
Thanks very much in advance...can't wait to get my hands on one seeing the pictures everybody's posted! |

If you have a look at phones4u.co.uk they were doing the phone free on a £30 a month tariff on O2. This should be unbranded as well.
The light is the same as on a K700i.
I seriously doubt that the MP3 player will be able to read the S700 or any other phone but I dont know for sure.

Thanks mate. How u getting on with the camera btw? It's my main reason for buying it....don't think I'd use a digital camera enough if it wasn't part of a phone. Too much to carry around. Gonna keep my P900 cos it's so great at everything else, and I'd miss it otherwise. Sad but true |

The camera is great. I use it to take pictures on the spur of the moment. If I know that I am going to take pictures somewhere then I take my Sony 4MP camera with me. It cant properly replace a digital camera but is great for spur of the moment pics.

Yeah that's what I was pretty much thinking myself. Want to buy a digital camera, but think the phone will do for most situations when I don't have it with me. Thanks for advice with phones4u, don't really think it's worth upgrading, might as well start a new contract |

Thats pants. This time last week you could get a S700 or P910 for free on £30 a month tariff. I was thinking of going for the P910 but I wont now.

well, finding that out I may wait a short while and see if it goes down again. I'm not in any real rush. It might have something to do with the fact that they have none in stock?
It gets worse: P910i now £199

@anneluvsvanness
In what way? Do you mean during playback or when taking a video?
If you mean during playback then just use the volume control buttons to adjust the volume to the required level. If you mean during capture then I don't think there is a way to adjust the audio beyond altering the noise level of the subject.
