No you can't do it using it has to be done using a docking station. |

I'm happy that this exists. My phone seems better now. Camera shutter thing is going to stay for ever I think. I wonder if MP3's are copy protected in R2L001. BT file transfer 25kb/s file transfer by cable is about 8kb/s.
I bet sony like this, they can sell more accessories. And save the service centres too much bother from people annoying them about firmware upgrades.

Didn't work with my Voda handset either, I just get the "your operator doesn't authorise... blah".
Bugger. Maybe it'll work soon? |

Hi guys,
Why does it need to be the desktop stand - I see that SE make a USB cable DCU-11, surely so long as the USB connection is there that's all that matters?
Thanks,

It stays even you turn on the silent mode? Thanks |

Yep, generally the reason that it's there, is because certain people have been taking shots of women etc with out them realising, up skirt etc. And the shutter is as a warning.
It makes a noise whatever mode it is in. In R2C it was muted under meeting profile. R2L it is impossible to mute. |

thats incorrect. on my K700 with mute on the camera is also mute
anyway, this thread is for discussing the online update, not individual firmware changes. There are specific threads for each K700 firmware version and an K700 firmware overview thread. All these can be found in the
Answers to the most common questions on Esato Forums (FAQ style)

Has anyone attempted the firmware update on an Orange UK branded phone? I'm going to borrow a synch station from my firend over the weekend, he doesn't know it yet but I shall borrow it
