i received the 'new' settings and installed it. and guess what? i can't send MMS! *&^&^#(*&$^
so to those who have their MMS currently working, i advise you not to install the 'new' configuration. |

I think i know the answer to the whole mess:
smart and globe are trying to open their gateways to allow (for a lack of a better word) "inter-messaging" thru mms.
to resolve the problem, just (for smart) configure u'r fone again Over the air then when a message comes telling you to wait for the new config, don't save the new config!!!
hehehe...

@arnold- Been trying to configure my smart no. I already did SET MMS, SET INTERNET T68, SET GPRS T68, edited the IP address under Set Internet na din. I received their configuration on their reply but I still dont have my GPRS bar. I attempted to connect but GPRS failed. I called Smart na and its active naman daw on their part.

@berry, call them and ask them to verify if gprs is indeed active on the switch and on your profile. |

Henryj, you should follow the procedures of angelikdevil. All of you who received that message from smart and installed the configuration should follow the procedure mentioned.

@berrybianka: try sending "SET MMS" (w/o quotations) or "SET GPRS"(without quotations) only. Lose the "T68".
i.e.
SET GPRS don't use SET GPRS T68 |
