Hi! I have a T610, and recieved a message from my service provider today (O2) that was some kind of advert for downloadable games. The problem is, that when i exited the message, there's this small text-message style envelope in the corner of my screen that has a little 'W' in it in the '@' style (if that makes any sense!) How do I get rid of it!? It won't budge!!

This happened to me on my T68i which was on o2-uk. I couldnt get rid of it at all. I went to my local o2 shop and they said they've never seen the symbol before. I then went along to my nearest se service centre and they said it was some kind of a virus (???) which has been sent to the phone. Around this time my T68i had started to slow down, freeze up and turn itself off and on automatically. I decided to do a master reset on the phone which did get rid of the symbol but not the problems. I ended up buying a siemens sl55 (sim free) which was dissappointing and annoyingly slow. I kept it for 3 months until I got my upgrade to a T610. I now have an imported sim free, unbranded T630 in black. |

suggestion: check your manual to see what each icon means it is mentioned in there.

I know its funny as i found out what it was shortly after buying the Sl55 and put my T68i in the trash. I really liked the T68i as well. It was my first SE handset. Although my very first handset many years ago was an Ericsson 628. |
