if this has been present in all phones (m+i) and all firmwares, how can it be a bug? it's a feature. i've never had to use it, and i've never set it off by accident either, but it's sensible for it to be there.

i agree with the point already made- if you're carrying your phone in such a way that the "no" key is continually under pressure, you're going to damage your phone anyway and have a lot more to worry about than this..

So basically when your keypad is locked you still have the ability to 1. Turn off the phone by holding down No 2. Call 999 (UK emergency) 3. Call 911 (US emergency) 4. Call 112 (Int emergency) and 5. Call 08 whatever that may be. Anything else ive left out?.

Tested to hold NO for 15 seconds, and phone turned off with keylock enabled. My phone had turned itself off many times while being in my pocket, its nice to finally know why. It takes a lot of time to start after being shut off. Why is this?

T68i, R5C001 Made in Malaysia, Phil. set, doesn't turn off even for 1 min. or up to 5 mins. However, I can still call 112, 911 & 08 when keylock is activated as stated in my manual.

I have a T300 R1B firmware and mine turns off after about 11 secs. Have you guys all discovered that if you have Phone PIN on and you turn on the phone and leave it at the "Enter PIN" menu for about 5 secs, it automatically locks the keypad. This is good and bad. Good- You could accidently press the wrong keys if you put your phone in your pocket then it would lock your phone. Bad- If you turn on your phone and just check something for a couple of secs, then u have to unlock your phone.
