I find it disturbing that ppl in this post seem to think its ok to just carelessly talk about gay people as Fags. Its a derogatory word and just like other minority groups, its ok for gay people to reclaim the word and use amongst themselves but anyone out of that circle should have the intelligence to realise that its offensive for them to say it.
Im sure if there were derogatory words said about racial minorities, action would be taken, unfortunately it seems gay people are classed as 2nd class citizens on here?

Im sure a couple of the posts on here contravene the rules posters agreed to when signing up....

Quote:
1) No personal attacks or bullying. If you disagree with what someone is saying, then present a mature and intelligent case to prove otherwise. Malicious intent will not be tolerated. What you do over private email is one thing, what you do on our forum is another.

2) No offensive language. Sure, most of us use four letter words in normal conversation without too much thinking, but this forum is about thinking. Words are the clothes in which thought is dressed. And luckily, these threads are cheap (pun intended) so please choose language that reflects the quality of your ideas.

I suggest people stop being so ignorant!

Dearest Georgey Bushy Baby is wanting us to live in a 'world of freedom and democracy' (nice thought shame his country aint it) and that means acceptance that people are different and not be so insular about things.

Nice forum, verko!

Lot of interesting thoughts around
I don't post that often, as I'm kinda new member (since July) but I feel as a part of a society when I press the Login button at esato.com... It is cool that in some european countries the homophobic behaviour is a rare... Hard to say the same for Bulgaria, but still things changed a lot for the last 10 years now. This is my second long term relationship, so I'll celebrate 3years in a month, being and living with my boyfriend... I'm 27, and meet no problems with my sexuallity, neither do my straight friends nor my family, - that's what's important...

Cheers everybody!

It sure is easy to tell who is an 'insider' and who is an 'outsider' from their posts on an internet forum

I sort of understand where you're coming from but i find the bolded parts in your text confusing to say the very least.

Aside from the fact that I fear you may trigger a response that may well ruin the good atmosphere (apart from a few blatently ignorant replies) in this thread.

Finally a thought for you: chick is derogatory. As is the nowadays popular bitch. Yet they are commonly used. Is it really worth fighting a battle over?

There was a company web site which offered Siemens phones at the lowest possible price of GBP0.00 .. but it wasn't sure if they did a mistake or what...

So she ordered one and now waits to see if the siemens will come I wish her luck!
