Still using a T39m myself. Company phone, the default tends to be something like a Nokia 3xx0 series. Asked at the time if our suppliers could offer any alternatives - was offered a Nokia 5??? (rubbery thing), Sony J7, Ericsson T39m, or something else which I now forget. Went with the T39m, and it's a great little phone (though I perhaps wouldn't have picked the pastel blue colour!).
Battery life isn't what it once was - still a few days, granted, but not the week+ it hit in the early days.
Does exactly what I want it to do - small, compact, keys are protected from accidental keypresses, and does decent voice quality. Don't need fluff like colour screens and cameras. |

Yes! And the T28's antenna gave miserable rf almost zero! Untit the best result with a short aerial + an antenna booster = IAT-10 almost.

So its a special aeriel for that fone. Thought a longer one would give better reception.

Yes, it is quite paradoxal. Let see how Lekīs T39 works with the short aerial? Or is it a matter of a operator? |

Of course it depends on the operator aswell, but the fone should work the best way with the original aerial.

Well . . . I've just heard so much positive notes 'bout the Ericsson T39 fone model, now can I just hear some negative/cons/setbacks of it? |

Please post some pics of it ok - 'old fones thread' side by side with your Ericsson T28 as well, just like what @threex did with his - OK? Good Luck! |
