Globe? informing its consumers?
Did Globe inform the consumers that international sms would be charged Php 10/message sent OUTSIDE the free alloted sms allocation in Feb 2000? What they published was that IT IS INCLUDED in the FREE message allocation of a subscriber and Php 10 would only be charged IF SUBSCRIBER has exceeded his allocation (I have copies of the publication)
Did Globe properly inform its consumers that GPRS would be charged Php 0.50/kb starting October 30, 2001. With their billions of pesos in profit and millions spent on advertising, Globe could only advise SOME AND NOT ALL subscribers THROUGH TEXT MESSAGE WHICH IS NOT A PROPER FORM OF PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT that such charges would apply. Up to this date I have never seen any announcement by Globe done publicly yet they continue to charge its subscribers by distributing 8pages/subscription on how to set up gprs using the internet apn without due advice on charges.
When will you learn people? Globe listening? My case has been ongoing for the past 2 years and at least up to the VP legal is well aware of it. You think they would do something?
NTC and DTI are throwing the ball at each other but both know the merits of my case... in the meantime, I have remained a Globe subscriber since 1994... talk about loyaly... yet I have NOT QUALIFIED for any of their loyaly programs... STRANGE BUT TRUE... ask the legal department... they know me.
(two letter T's from the word "loyalty" were purposely omitted to reflect my sentiments against the situation).

Another point RE: Locked subscriptions. You can argue that they violated the MSA a priori , thus the assumption that the contract was rescinded.

I called up globe last nite and ask how come i cant get through other wap sites such as yahoo, google and esato. Sagutin ba naman ako ng \"sir, u can visit nokia.com. I told her that its irrelevant for me to visit that site because i am a se user. And she never understand my point and still keep on insisting to go to that site. :-(

kaya daw blocked ang esato.com sa globe eh dahil sa dami daw ng nage-esato, dumadami ang load sa kanila (gprs) tapos di naman daw sila kumikita from esato. may on-going negotiation daw between GLOBE and ESATO if esato can pay a certain fee (amount of money) to globe (dahil sila naman daw ang nagbibigay ng free gprs-browsing)
