All your views are valid, democracy is suppossed to take acount of EVERYONES view, then it works.
So now we see how important it is to have a fair voting system & no forced voting (like so many regimes do) when a leader gets power in an obviously dubious way, (Bush, Hussein are good examples) then its NOT democracy, people are not being represented properly & it all falls apart, as the planet gets more people on it,& our diets get worse, its going to slowly turn to mayhem.
Personally i love everyone (apart from Welsh people), untill they mess with my freedom.

i knew that many closed minded and lacks info about history are posting here. @el gato you misunderstood my post regarding the 400 yrs of spanish rule. i meant that the spanish held my country for 400 yrs and not the usa for they did not exist before. it proves that you really do not know english very well. if someone helps me then i would be grateful for who ever gave me help and i will in return help them too. if you even helped me in a small way el gato be assured that i will also help you back and return the favor when the time comes. you guys can say anything on the japs during the ww2 due to you did not experience the genocide and cruelty of the japs when they held asia by the balls. my grand parents were there so they all told me about the jap occupation. my grandfather was a freedom fighter back then. for ex. in 1945 when the us army was at the gates of manila the philippine capital, gen. yamashita ordered his troops to withdraw and leave the city. the commander there did not comply with his orders and he did not leave with his 20,000 troops. the us army also asked him to surrender but he just gave them the finger. mcarthur has no other choice but to fight it out with them. that's when the massacre of manila happened, the japs there started killing all civilians they encounter including babies by stabbing them with bayonets. more than 20,000 civilians died there. the japs were very suicidal at the time and all the 20,000 japs died. the usa did not do that. read the history on world war 2 in asia for facts. if the usa did not nuke japan then not only the tens of thousands in hiroshima and nagasaki will die but millions on both sides for the usa did their math on an invasion of japan. more than 2 mil on the yanks and double or triple on the japs for the emperor also gave arms to the civilians and japan has still more than 2 mil left of it's army. japan attacked usa first! they also did not sign the geneva convention at the time so they can shoot even prisoners of war and civilians. anybody knows that in WAR THERE WILL BE PEOPLE KILLED ASIDE FROM THE SOLDIERS. it would be stupid to think that no one will die in a war. has the war on iraq killed more than 100,000 or even 10,000? the roman empire lasted for almost 2,000 years and the usa is much stronger than them so the guy who wishes that he see the downfall of the usa you have to live for 100 yrs. even which is impoissible for you. i am not dwelling in the past for i would need a time machine for that. i am just saying that the usa is not that rotten at the core. the usa did not kill the 6 mill jews or started the 2 world wars. when the war ended the nations that were kicked in the ass by germany and japan has forgiven them even though they both killed millions of lives then. the ways justify the means. even lots of people here think that the help usa is giving to the iraqi's in basra is bad. at lesat they are helping insted of letting them starve or die of thirst. they are not handing out p800's, girls or booze to them. be realistic! you can do that if there is no war. the solution or help handed out depends on the situation. to most of the guys posting here, before you reply please do some reading or research so that your replies are true and full of facts.
something that is complex and sophisticated is not always the best and reliable. what is simple is better.

it would be best if we just save all our anger, complaints and bullshit against the usa if we waited for the outcome or end of the war. if the usa did not help iraq and just let them rot then that would be a good time to protest or give them hell. to the ones who can't contain their anger or hatred against the usa, the only way i can see is to attack them directly which i know is really impossible. the usa has not been invaded and a country would loose millions of lives just to make it happen. russia had plans once but they realized that too. most of the eastern european countries support the usa for the record. to those who do not really like the usa then you should not patronize their products like do not buy nike's, guess, raybans etc. idolize the nba players like jordan, shaq etc. chocolates, listen to american music like rap or pop or idolize eminem, shakira, etc., go to the usa for a visit or vacation, do not watch movies made there or gawk over movie stars. you guys hate the usa so show that you do.

Saddam used chemical weapons in 1988 in Halabja and killed 5000 plus people. He had them then and he has them now. He has killed more muslims, civilians, and HIS OWN PEOPLE than the US. Why didn't the world protest then? Bigots.

news from cnn; blair announced that 2 brit prisoners were executed by iraqi forces. to the brits in this forum i say "love your own". the brits and yanks does not execute iraqi prisoners. it is also against the geneva convention to execute prisoners.

You know that the US are gaining a lot of money form the rebuilding works ….. that’s why the US are choosing American companies for that, and that what makes the UK angry about that because the UK want their companies to be part of the rebuilding works so that they could gain some money from that….

@jbendaou - mate, I really don't get your point. You've gone off on this whole tangent about the humanitarian aid. If you're not saying it's a bad thing, which you're obviously not(!), then what are you saying? They're only giving aid as another form of propaganda, to swing public opinion? Don't believe the Iraqis support the war just because they're gratefully accepting the food/supplies that the US are VOLUNTARILY providing (and the UK)?
I notice you yourself seem to be an American citizen....

i normally base my opinions in the information i know to be true... i can't judge anything without being at least a LITTLE informed on the subject... i know i allready wrote stupid things in here... but at least they came out of my own head. MY HEAD gives me my conclusions and judgements... i don't make comments about something that's been fed to me and of what i know almost anything, like so many people do here... this is endless. many people step over others sometimes because they don't have enough real knowledge to discuss issues properly... they're like those radiocommanded cars that keep hiting the wall again and again, 'cause the guy at the control is distracted...
there's no chance of reaching any conclusion here. maybe that's why the creator of the forum bailed out.

my point is not because the people from iraq accept the food,etc... that make them hate their president. that is what i meant...and of course there are some who hate him.
And what do you think about http://www.aljazeerah.us being shot down? Liberty of speech???Yea right, i could say that CNN,etc...is also full of it too...I personally like the news on BBC, the news we get from BBC is a lot better than the americain channels.

@ jbend are you an american citizen too? by reading your post you really hate what the gov't of your country where you are living is doing to iraq and i see some anti-usa in you. then why are you still staying in DC? if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. as for you reply about the usa giving out greencards to the philippines; many pilipinoes there wants to be a us citizen for the record. why? well you already know that for you are living in the usa. before the philippines gained indepence from the usa most of them at the time favor becoming a us territory like guam or puerto rico. look at them now enjoying the benefits the usa has to offer like better health care, free education, better public utilities etc. only the proud politicians favor independence eventhough it is evident that they could not govern very well and the country could not yet stand on their own feet. look at the philippines now a 3rd world country. look at japan the usa taught them everything they know and became an economic super power. japan supports the usa 100% due to paying a favor back, returning a favor or giving help and support back is typical in japanese culture. also japan is the no.1 investor in the philippines. why? well japan destroyed the philippines back in the last world war so they hqve been helping the country econimically since after that. I SAY AGAIN TO ALL WHO HATE THE USA BUT ARE LIVING OR STAYING IN IT AND BENEFITTING FROM FREEDOM GET THE HELL OUT! YOU HAVE NO LOVE FOR YOUR ADOPTED COUNTRY AND HAVE NO GRATITUDE. shutting down a country's tv and print media is a prt of psychological warfare. read about it. russia and china has nukes since the 1950's and russia and the usa has stopped targetting each other when the ussr broke up. the usa and china have removed some of their missles targetted on each other due to better relations. russia will loose to the usa in a no nuke war due to russia has no cash to sustain it while the usa has lots. that's why russia's forces have been doing cut backs and most of their weapons are rotting due to lack of money for maintenance.
