guys - i came here for the first time since 2020 in hopes of seeing rumors for a great new phone in 2024 to tempt me into upgrading my beloved 1m2... and nothing.

 sad.

guess I'll be waiting for 2025 and maybe there will be an entire revamp, newly named series and design language?

There is no solid info anywhere, except sony website html confirms Mark 6 name and 512GB storage (although 256GB version is not out of question yet). Some stuff like SD8g3 is obvious.
All other stuff are vague rumors : larger screens, 48MP 1/2.7" exmor T for super wide/periscope, different design, announcement at MWC. At this point, it should have been certified already and design known. Looks like they are hiding behind 1000 doors, like xz2 series. I remember design was out less than 30h before the event.

she was forst person to claim sony and apple would go 48MP.
 back in 2020.

1/2.7" exmor T will surely outperform 1/2" exmor RS like imx586 if they can keep 50% more sensibility promissed by this tech.

 | Is it true that this is the last year for Xperia and from 2025 onwards Sony will have a new design and new line of phones?

I was going to post about it now. It basically does everything xperia can. To me, sounds like mark 6 does not have these skills.
