Interesting that you link to stuff.tv
I recall a few people calling the very same site Apple biased. As for now, I can't tell whether this guy is sincere or not in what he is writing about the Xperia XZ. Once a die-hard Apple fan, always a die-hard Apple fan. Let's see if that holds true.

Lol, this is my thing with all these claimed "bias" reviews.
People want endless adoration for their chosen device and manufacturers and when that doesn't happen the reviewers are seen as bias, BUT once that particular reviewer is truly impressed by the manufacturer for finally making a damn good product, the bias tag goes away.
It's almost become the 'Esato Way' of dealing with critical reviewers.
I fully expect many of the so-called "bias" reviewers to be seen in a new light here as they will be impressed by XZ Premium. |

Sounds like you are frustrated my friend. Being bias is a normal part of the media you can't ignore that part. |

There are much bigger things in life to be frustrated about, I'm anything but frustrated,rather jus making an observation at how reviewers are perceived here when they don't praise a Sony product.

Anyway so do we have dates of when Sony will be releasing this beast globally?

If it was al Samsung or IPhone than was it super a wow factor, nog its aan Sony Phone so be it.

He understand perfectly well what's going on but he is too stubborn to acknowledge it. 4K is useless untill Apple/Samsung does it. Vlad Savov from theverge will write why we need 4K HDR display in our live and why should every company needs to put it in their phone after samsung/apple do it. David from android police will write how revolutionary 2:1 aspect ratio is and how wonderful the phones are with this werid aspect ration phone.
They cry bazel yet they will hardly say anything about pixel phones bazel even though it lacks front facing stereo speaker and waterproofing. That's the way it is. Most the journalist and the fanboys of apple/samsung don't want to see anything other than samsung/apple product to succeed. #fact.

I do read the reviews but don't take them too seriously, there will always be some bias and particularly when it comes to camera samples because you get some amazing pics and others that show terrible quality, in the right hands any camera can be made to look amazing. I look out for certain things such as overheating issues.
For the best reviews I go looking for personal reviews on this forum or XDA. These people spend their own money so they will review with much more scrutiny and yes some more bias but if issues arise then they will be asking about it on the forums. Even the S7 forums will praise it in many ways but you also see the gripes people have no matter how small and for me that's worth more than any big review site. |

I agree with the Bezel part. I personally dont like such huge bezels but it pisses me off when reviewers or anyone finds it okay on Pixel but not on the Xperia!

The Pixel XL has about 2% better body to screen ratio yet the Sony has stereo speakers which for me personally is much better trade off. I think the XZP will be the phone which has pushed technology further this year than any other phone even the S8 as apart from very small bezels it's rumored to pretty much the same inside bar better selfie cam and that dual pixel sensor is now available in the new G5 Plus and as for as AI goes Google Assistant is more than most people would ever need so that Bixby stuff to me at least is a waste of R&D.

Guyz have you seen the new display modes on xz premium? Professional mode(SRGB) and standard mode.really glad sony finally is giving us a choice with color preset.
