Looks to be a midrange device, most likely to replace the C5 Ultra, so perhaps C6 Ultra for MWC? Not a fan of the design, looks generic. Also it seems there is an event by Sony on the 12th of January, and it is tied to the colour pink, so perhaps this or a pink variant of Z5?

Look like it is Xperia M6/Lower equivalent model more than Xperia C6 ultra
Reason:
-no flash light in front of bezel
-5 rows of application,C5 ultra has 6 rows.
-Doubtful,the front cam size decrease compared to M5

Looks like c5 ultra than anything but top and bottom bezel are now porpotional. Screen looks really vibrant though. |

I see the 6 row issue now, not sure if Sony would add a smaller camera to the front for a M6 where the prev model had a more prominent front cam but anything is possible. Whatever it is, it is a sony device for sure. There is an event on the 12th of january for something, be it a new phone or a new colour option, pink.
Of course a less likely idea is a new E model? With such thin bezels, it can remain small, ie 4.7-4.8 in in size but feature a 5 inch screen?

Will the Z6 (not the Z6 Plus) with the 5.2" or 5.5" screen have a 4K HDR screen, or do you think that this will be reserved for the Z6 Plus? Second question: do you think that Sony will do a similar thing to the Z6 models that they did with the ZL where the bezels, form factor etc. are so small that they are somehow smaller than the screen?

AFAIK, Sony will still make Premium/Plus version as people loved it... but what we don't know is how they will differentiate it from the regular flagship... having only a larger screen doesn't count as "Premium", but only "Plus"... in Z5p they made it with 4K display, if it will be the same then it's fair enough, but less than that it will not deserve the "Premium" tag...

Although i probably won't be getting the xperia, Samsung's looking appealing, especially if the next flagship isn't due until fall.
I hope they slim down their bezels, they need a better form factor IMO. The phone quite tall and bezels being smaller would help it be more comfortable. |

I feel you, because I am in the same situation.
I was hoping for the Xperia Z5 to be in rose gold but it ended up being less pink than I wanted to.
If Samsung releases the S7 in the same blue topaz colour, that thing is going to be mine.

Bought note 4 less than a week ago and returned it yesterday.just aweful everything.I can't believe how reviewer hide every negative point.Please go to your nearest shop and check note 4 s screen,slightly tilt it,(I can't speak for note 5).just horrible quality and diamond pentile is crap.looks like water paint.I was a fool to sell my Z3 and now i'm back to Z2 | |
