If that Z4 is authentic I will buy the Z4 Ultra the minute it hits the shelves. Metallic slate frames looks incredible. Please God grant me patience. |

That Z4 is a home-made concept.
Here's why:
- The reflection in the glass is of somebody's block of flats, not a typical press shot
- The advert itself is a little too close to the iPhone bus stop posters out at the minute
- "The Elemental" is a typically fanboy name for a concept, nothing Sony in it's style at all
- "Xperia Z Fourth Generation" is also not Sony Style at all, especially as technically it is the 5th generation..
The screen is obviously lifted from an older handset (can't remember which model) if you look closely it still has the shatter film on the screen. The side are from the Z3 but the flap has been scrubbed out and a bit of light/dark manipulation gives it a slightly angular look.

The thing is that this leak is from a legitimate source, a high executive in Sony entertainment |

Well, it's kind of obvious (at least to me) that "the elemental" is a concept... but its design elements are what sony may use for z4 design if you believe these leaks are really from sony. i do.

In the "New World" video here's what I see:
- Very thin
- Return to the 'diamond cut' surround (like the drawing posted previously suggests)
- ~5" screen (probably 5.2" again)
- Purple and Red colours
- Emphasis on audio quality - not sure what that means over the Z3
- Emphasis on colour reproduction
- Emphasis on low-light performance
- Copper and Green again (I think so anyway, I'm slightly colour blind)
- Some emotional memory stuff
5-9 are kind of meaningless as we would expect such things.
A return of purple and the introduction of red is nice.
The diamond cut is a step backwards if you ask me, but I always thought the Z3 looked a bit like an iPhone 6 even now.

Okay I know this is off topic, but I really want to
know what is meant by colorblind.
1. Is someone who color-blind can only see in black and
white?
2. Or they are actually able to see the color's but that they do not know how the color looks like? |

I think this is fake. Try look at the top and bottom bezel dual stereo speakers, it looks exactly like xperia z microphone. Perhaps they edited xperia z with xperia Z3 sides

colorblindness occurs in a few different variations. Some people are colorblind to specific colors while others are blind to almost all colors. The most common, I believe, is red/green colorblindness where you can see all colors but cannot distinguish between the colors red and green, and any other color that may have a bit of red or green tint to it.

ON TOPIC:
I'm planning to keep my Z1 for a few more years, but I'm excited to see what sony has in store for the Z4. I am just hoping that Sony makes a comeback and continues to make mobile phones/devices in the future so I have them as a choice when I do upgrade. It'll be a very sad day if Sony is not an option for a phone as I have had nothing but Sony/SE phones for the last 14 years.
I don't think the photo in the elemental is the Z4 for the reasons already pointed out. I think the teaser video is very interesting and I agree with RickyD that Sony should leak something pretty outlandish just to get all the tech blogs and what not excited and chomping at the bit for more.
Here's to 2015 and a successful year for Sony. I hope they can deliver.

Wow what a great looking OP!
congrats XperiaJunkie and good luck!
As much as I adore Omnibalance but I think we'd had enough of this design language are Sony product designers too uninspired these days that they can't pull off a new look like they used to?
