I don't know if you guys can see this, but a friend of mine reposted this on facebook:
Another iPhone bending video
I really don't like the crunch. He almost tears the phone in half.

This "look I can destroy my cellphone" videos are so damn boring and crappy.
This guys think they do something remarkable or something.
How hard can it be to destroy, bend, crash a ultra thin phone.
Give it to a homeless guy or something. That would be more fun to watch.

hehehe.. you crack me up dude.
first you referenced to something in the video, when you said "look very careful he takes a bent 6+",and now its because you called him??
sorry... but I dont believe you.
but I have to concede to the fact that some will really refuse to accept the fact their expensive phone has a design flaw... even in the face of overwhelming evidence. In apple's haste to release the product, and maybe to achieve their goal to make it thinner, they failed to properly test it... and ultimately sacrificed some of its durability.
cheers!

couldn't really tell if that's a 6 or a 6+... since the icons look the same, and the bezels look the same.
Im assuming its a 6+.... the 6 have been reported to be more resistant.
cheers!

Maybe it's already been posted in this thread? If so, apologies.

I played with a friends iPhone 6+ today and thought it was amazing until I placed it next to my LG G3. Immediately the huge bezels became plainly obvious and the phone looked huge. I realise that ip6 has the same problem but I think it is more visible on the ip6+ due to larger body

It is a 6+ the guy says it at the beginning and plus the screen seems pretty large (larger than I believe a 4.7 inches screen would be) |

They are for Apple fans and users because they're worrying and truthful. You don't want to see the flaws in something that you love so much and cost so much. Which is understandable, it really is. But when you become an Apple extremist, you make yourself a target to ridicule to the unbiased people on the forum. The point you're missing is, this shouldn't happen. Websites drop test, throw and even put phones in a blender to test their strength, which is out of the realms of normality because most of us don't abuse our devices. The whole bendgate issue has come about due to simple every day use. As did Antennagate and Scuffgate.
For a company which makes so much profit, they clearly do not reinvest any substantial amount of that profit back into their quality assurance testing. My opinion of Apple is more a moral and political one, rather than simple distaste of their products. For example, heres another story of Apple hiding their money under the mattress.
@ AbuBasim - that was truly horrifying. I really do feel sorry for that kid. He probably wanted that phone all year long and its ruined within the first hour of owning it.
EDIT: it didn't come apart, it was the tray it was sat on, but still, dents, damage and scratches. Poor kid.

They say in that link that its a poor bending video, but its still a pretty good example of how children can walk into an Apple store and do that.
I must admit i had the same idea last week but then immediately thought of the consequences should i innocently do such a thing but actually cause damage. I dont want to pay for the device or get a criminal record just for consumer research.
Its obviously easily done. I think what makes it such a big deal is how people are able to do with just their bare hands, even though other devices will bend or break when enough force is applied.
