what about combination of manual ISO100 with +EV2.0, is this extending exposure time?
Increasing the EV to +2 increases shutter speed up to 1/2 seconds which is the longest the C901 can achieve atm, i was experimenting with low ISO non xenon macro shots when i found this out. Once we find ISO 50 the camera will be brilliant in well light conditions and if we find longer shutter speeds the night shots will also improve. I'll take a look at the K750i camdriver file and compare with C901.

yes, but i must pay for converting phone
but, before i have C902 and same problem with light sensor. And i'm found that in oldest firmware, light sensor is disabled, so i was just put dispdriver0.dat from oldest firmware to a phone and it's worked. So, maybe is possible to change settings in dispdriver0.dat from C901??

Possibly, what exactly is the problem with it? If you dont want it to function cant you just put a little bit of black card over the sensor so its blind to light conditions?

@goldmen
I hope it is you could edit it and try it? I know you have made drivers before You would also have to edit the English menu files, but i think jigonx will have some time off for looking at it cos its the weekend now

registers in C901 driver are very similar to registers from K750. with #WRITE_REG(CATEGORY,..) they are even easier to read. I wouldn't be surprised if shutter speed = #WRITE_REG(03,04,xx)
#WRITE_REG(03,04,xx) --> not working bro.. it has no effect..

it's clearly wrote inside the camdriver that "WRITE_REG(03,05,XX)" is register for ISO. but i don't know why it seems has no effects if we changes the value. not like the one in K850 camdriver.

for getting complete backup, you better use "CodeClaw extractor" to copy original files from phone (FS) to memory card. so you can copy the files to your pc
you can download CodeClaw extractor from --> HERE |

open the lng file, then,
just search the text you want to change. at the bottom there is a column with default text. delete and change the text and apply..save
for text in camera menu, it's around line 600-700. |
