Ok this is ur 1st option, dloading file/browsing using ur Default Browser or Mobile Phone without using any application.
@ myspours: ok! let's proceed..
1st: put this in your Advance Settings
IP: smokeflower.com
PORT: 80
and ur network APN
then Activate!
Then make this as bookmark!
http://live.vodafone.com/dahr.php
then save!
After that!.. Click ur new bookmark, and wait until the whole page is load, then in the URL box put ur desire dload file for example.
http://cyborg-a0.wen.ru/CnC4_Red_Alert.jar
put that in the URL form and click browse, wait until it dload,
or put ur desire URL, example:
http://www.google.com, and click again browse, that's it, try it now..
and I'll wait ur feedback.. goodluck that's free to browse!

@ white cloud: I know you tried this one ryt? just follow the instruction, change the IP and Port then make a new bookmark, and write this one:
http://live.vodafone.com/dahr.php
and activate the Acces Point in ur new bookmark, using that IP and Port.
then after that click ur new bookmark, in the address bar just put ur desire URL or Download file, then click brows, that's it!..
w8 in 'live.vodafone.com.' just change that to other freesite, if you having a problem, maybe your Network Provider blocked it, just try to used any other freesite..

@pm1: well that's great!.. make a new access point and put the IP and Port, of smokeflower..
Then inside ur 8.65 make a new bookmark using ur Network Provider Freesite, ex: http://live.vodafone.com/dahr.php just change the freesite if ever u having a problem, don't forget to active the access point inside ur 8.65.
Goodnight for Now..

not shure Chrizchild, im using a motorola v360 i usually handle .jar files mostly, never handled .sis before. My freesite do open by itself but when i add dahr.php is says page cannot be displayed its strange when i put my cellc simcard in my friends nokia n70 with the same port 80 and proxy: smokeflower.com it loaded the page you mentioned. Do you think my mobile is the problem? And do u know of a way to find freesites for one's network because i saw somewhere a list of freesites for globe network i think . |

Can you tell me all your connection setting.
For example in our network we have 3 setting in 1 network
1. Sun WAP - has default ip
2. Sun MMS - for mms
3. Sun Internet - has no ip and use for web browsing and streaming. |

yes ,here we have 2 one mms & one gprs settings.
gprs:
apn: mtnirancell
home: vitrin.irancell.ir
ip:10.131.26.138
port:8080
& i am able to change them.
& this is the freesite that does not cost any money with that ip&port i said before & when i click my homepage comes with this link:
http://vitrin.irancell.ir/cgi-bin/wap/xhtml/MTNIHome.cgi?SESSID=978352615f5b000fbc5511384e5689e8&LANGID=ENG
mms is like gprs with the same ip&port but with this homepage: http://mms:8002
i can also say that without ip&port i am able to use gprs ,it works but in this case my homepage will not be free...thanks a lot

You only have 2,
you cant change your ip cause it is your default ip address and it wont allow any ip, hmm your network only offers wap browsing, no web setting. If your network has web setting its ip can changed, but it seems your network didn't have it.
ok you can try this one
using mtnirancell
http://vitrin.irancell.ir@t9space.com
