May I ask how the bloody hell do people see the similarities in Yari to N81 or N86 or whatever?
Seriously while the black and white does strike same it is completely different. The SE is more round and futuristic while the other, the other well its Nokia for petes sake looking 2 years old.
OMG! True, it is 2years old, yet spec wise its a year ahead, hmmm . . .guess some do prefer look over function. Im still reading the article on another window, just had to come here and see how yall are taking it.

And ive got the actual phone in my hand please dont confuse it with N85, and yep it has good build quality, atleast mine does, 19months with it and not a single crack on the gaming keys, batt cover never did creak, weird it seems to only been discontinued in YOUR country, its still going for around $350 new at some.
Back to the article he lost me at A200 trying to be like S40 id rather have A2 over s40. I agree about SE being inconsistent though with the mem card slots and audio jacks, and ive totaly lost interest in that article, some of it is rubbish i dont believe SE are trying to copy NOKIA, but simply giving variety in the platforms they have but thats my opinion.

Yeah mang, 2MP camera, no accelerometer, funskool plastics, shitty battery life, molasses slow menu... All that counts as being one year ahead, right?
FYI, I have VERY in depth experience with the N81. SO much that an NDA prevents me from talking about most of it.

@gucci, no offence meant.
Yea its strange. Nokia has a weird policy in India. they discontinued the N78,N82, N91 all of a sudden and also a few of the cheaper models. |

Slow? Bad batt life? you havent used it at all, im currently running 6apps on mine, been doing so since i got up 7hours ago, still have 6bars (85%) batt left, and with these 6apps running its faster than my K850 when the K850 is running Media and Opera Mini. End of story.

None taken thats realy odd, i can understand both N81 and N91 being niche phones wont sell large amounts but im suprised N78 and N82 were stopped there, NOKIA generaly have weird policies as much as i like them some of the things they do are just strange like that US exclusive S60.

Like I said, I've used it pretty extensively. I stand by each of those points I made.
In any case, it makes no sense comparing the functionality of a smartphone and a dumbphone when the original comparison was about looks. (Also, you're talking about your N81 being faster than a K850 when the original comparison was with a feature phone of this day and age). But if you do wanna go down the road, call me when your N81 features gesture based gaming, Accelerometer, extensive flash support, a decent camera with a decent flash, a UI that doesn't make one doze off etc. etc.
There's no such thing as a perfect phone. But this whole "One year ahead" comparison makes very little sense. it's not. End of story.

And you show how little you know
It has FlashLite3.0 support, im able to fire up the web browser and go straight to desktop YouTube and stream, or download YouTube and any other .flv vids at 352x288 @ 25-30fps and play them with no problem. Who needs limited gesture controlled gaming? Ive got 12 Ngage games all in high quality 3D, plus the PC Quake series taken straight from the PC to the phone in excellent 3D and audio with not a single hitch, UI im able to customize to what i want right on the phone and all i need is sitting on my stand by screen and dpad. Like i said, end of story.the whole
"one year ahead" was a simple joke, dont worry next time il have a huge neon sign saying THIS IS A JOKE so we dont have this again.

LOL at GUCCI. Man you really bring color to our lives here at Esato. Not in plankgatan/panonski trademark ways but still. The N81 is a great phone...one of the girls I once adored had one, and I must say it also increased the phone's appeal to me! |

I know very well that it has Flash Lite support. I should apologise for not putting it in the right words, but I'm talking about the implementation. It's quite obvious to everyone that SE has integrated flash into their user experience better than Nokia, be it in the UI, capuchin or whatever. ANd still, there are a lot more things that I pointed out.
...and I'll hold that notion about gesture gaming and graphics quality until it hits the market. About NGage, I wish I could talk more about it, but I gotta respect my contract. If you have any suspictions as to the authenticity of the claims, I'll be glad to PM you a link that proves my involvement while not breaking NDAs.
If you were aiming for a joke, you kinda missed the target. That was more like a flamebait and you know it, my friend.

It's quite obvious to everyone that SE has integrated flash into their user experience better than Nokia yes, that is true, but who cares? On my s60 i can add icons that look like the flash based ones, i can add all types of Menu effects and transitions and have a better UI oh wait ive aready done that. About the gesture controlled gaming are we really going to get proper support for these on SE? I Remember they had promised graphics accelerated games for the W900, that never really picked up. Ive got no suspisions, but your claims about N81 seem to be about an early prototype or something.

LMAO! Did you manage get her?

Again, wouldn't it be wise to actually let the darn thing come out before "Eldarifying" it? |

im not "Eldarifying" it lol, its just that SE have had this tendancy to start something and not finish it/not follow it through properly.

Back to the topic; I hope someone at SE takes note of this and sue Eldar for defamation as there are some blatant lies in that article. This madness has to stop sometime. |

Goodness. Saying anything against eldar at MR earns you a warning.
Anyways, SE needs to send him a money order. The guy is oozing "i want bribes" through his pathetic stints. |
