I know you would like one, but there's only a finite supply. Someone with lymphoma and a white-blood-cell count of literally 6 needs it far more than a healthy, fit and able person. You'll receive a vaccination when those who need it most have received theirs. I, personally, wouldn't take it even then; unnecessary to be vaccinated if you have a very high chance of being able to fight it off yourself. Immune systems are there for a reason.

Hey the pharmacytical companies are getting rich of that: The virus can only enter thru the mouth or nose. So wash your hands, keep your hands off your face. Exposure is not a problem as you are exposed to the virus, cuz it spreads across the world. But proliferation is. So gargle with saltwater twice a day (or mouthwash that contains alcohol). Get it up your nose somehow or use cotton swabs. Drink warm fluids as that washes the virus in your stomach where it cannot survive. It is like gargling but in reverse. And most of all stay and don't fall for the hype.

My son is getting vaccinated today. I have my doubts but would never ever forgive myself if he died from swineflu, having this opportunity.

I dont worry about swine flu if your gonna get then your gonna get it. As long as your careful and clean. What good will worrying do? I live and work in the west midlands which in the UK is the worst affected area. Nothing has happened to me yet. Yet. I just carry on as normal you cant lock yourself away. Though i was at the bus stop the other day and i heard some woman on her mobile saying her mom was in hospital with swine flu. I moved away slightly lol just in case she had it So far this year its not been as cold as it was this time last year so more of an outbreak has not happened. Its kind of slowed its not been the pandemic they were all saying it was going to be. Stop worrying people get on with your lives most people dont die from swine flu only so many have. So if you catch it you get treated Did you know that normal flu killed more people during the first world war than the war itself. But the difference is these days we have better health services

I'm not worried about the swineflu but in Holland there is a huge program running this week. All kids from 6months till 5years and everyone over 60, can get vaccinated. But feeded by the internet remains the question, is it safe? What is true? I hope the government did it's research well.
