Would love a VGA video capture capability, aGPS and wifi, but perhaps that's asking too much from a Walkman series phone that I won't be buying anyway. Beautiful, practical, clean design as always especially those with the side purple/olive green finish. Only wish the keypad area material (not the keypad itself) is flush with the screen like these published photos on the 1st page-unlike those of the live pics unfortunately. That would've really made big a difference, it would've been one of SE's most beautiful phones ever. I guess the one of the published pics are a bit misleading

@Hiron, 3.5 mm adapters have been standard with SE walkmans since W800.
I know that.
Actually, I hav HPM-82 and 85 that hav 3.5mm jack. Other accessories that I remember hav the jack is HPM-66, 70, 77, 82, 85, 88, 90.
Just see at SE website the list of accessories that featured 3.5mm jack.
I say that way because SE finally bundled 3.5mm jack (in this case HPM-77) in their phone packs. So we don`t need to buy it separately.
I aiming my words for those who don`t know this thing and always blamed SE that their phone lacks 3.5mm jack.
In my opinion, this adapter is fairly enough, win-win solution. We still can answer a call while listening a music with your favorite headphone, isn`t it?
And HPM-77 is already premium sound headset, don`t need to bring your own headphone anymore. My HPM-85 beats my Sennheiser CX-300 in terms of Dynamic Range, power handling and THD.
HPM-85 and 77 is only USS 30. Good price for premium quality headset. And now SE hav added HPM-88 (rebranded Sony MDR noise-cancelling headset) to their portfolio. What do you expected more than this? An electrostatic headset?
but if you still want to use your burger-sized USS400 headphone, just bring the tiny HPM-77 oxygen-free cable. We still can answer a call.
It is better than 3.5mm jack plugged alone to the phone, that would makes we detached the headphone everytimes we answer a call
get my point?

Like the styling on these new phones and the new colours look great too! Excellent specs but no Wifi? Still waiting for to get thier act together on this front. They should include Wifi in all mid-range and high-end phones just like they do with BT version 2.0 + EDR. Otherwise, this is still a very attractive phone and should do well. Hope it comes to NZ!

Deffinatly a W810 replacement...looks just like one infact
worth waiting for i think
Yeah... it's really a good replacement for those W800i/W810i users, but it's too late to be announced IMO...
It's conservative bar phone outlook cannot attract many ppl...
If it appears in 6 months or even 1 year ago it can catch the customers' eyes...
N82, N95 8GB, N96, SGH-U900, SGH-G400, KF750 Secret can give the same functions.
May be die hard fans will buy, but many W800i/W810i users already turned to other brands... especially N82
First : K750i, now keep on using W800i & W810i | J230i as 2nd phone | Z300i for Mum | K610i for GF But won't buy anymore as no amazing phone after W900i (Except Japan SE phone) C905? |

Seems like i'm starting to like W902 over C905 since i've been accustomed to phones ever since(all my friends including me owns a while only few of us owns cybershots) but they need to make an MXE-60 for A200 this is something that will make SE walkman and generic phones stand out of the crowd in the imaging arena.

Dude, The HPM 70 which has a 3.5 mm jack, came bundled with al the walkman phones ever released. Maybe not the low end ones. |

@se_dude, you're right.
I just wondering when SE will use HPM-77 for the standard bundled headsets for all walkman and cybershot.
So far, I hav K750, K800 and K850, I never buy walkman phones lol
all cybershot phones that I buy come with HPM-62, which doesn't has 3.5mm jack and deserves poor audio quality. I buy HPM-82 and 85 because of that

C902 comnes with a 3.5 mm adapter too. Not with HPM 7x or 8x series though. But it does have a 3.5mm jack. |

I like this phone. My only problem is that between the W810 and this there was nothing. And now I'm stuck with a Z750. Now let's see one with a AF 3.2 MP one, so I can afford it maybe. If only the W660 had AF.
Now that the accessory side is covered I'd like to see better audio chips in Walkmans.
I don't want a signature anymore. |

It's HPM-64.
