Is there any place you can pre-order the bluespoon aside from www.expansys.com? Just curious about existing distribution channels even for pre-orders. thanks |

We are constantly working on this distributors/resellers list,..I dont think its "complete" yet,..but I'll try to ask for a copy of it
Expansys.com,..is the only place right now, where You can preorder it, at least according to my knowledge
Expansys are by the way still using the prototype-picture,..to see the "real-thing", one should go to http://www.nextlink.to

would you be able to give me some reasons to buy the bluespoon headset compared to the other ones (nokia, the new ericsson hbh-30, etc.).
i'm just looking for some postive and negative aspects of each product.

What is the most convenient way for ppl living in Stockholm, Sweden to order this bluetooth headset when it's been released? |

These are the things that people mostly say, about bluetooth headsets : "they are big, clumsy, bad sound-quality, often bad battery-times, and their "ear-lock" systems are usually not very stabile, dont always fit. And "of course" the high pricetag.
We of course thought about this,..and pretty much tried to do better than this :
Bluespoon is very small, the ear-lock sits IN the ear, not on the outside, comfortable, weigts under 10gram,..its got very good battery-times,..7-8 hours of talk-time. The newest bluetooth-module. Good sound-quality as well.
Pricing will be approx. the same as the rest,..cant really do anything about that
This is the basic idea/thinking behind the Bluespoon. To make a small, lightweight, good-quality headset.
Hehe,..I'm beginning to sound like a sales-person
I dont want to say : "You have to buy this and that, because its the best".
It all depends on taste, what people like. I would go out and try some of the ones I like, when they arrive,..then its a lot easier to decide.
I find other Bluetooth headsets very interesting too,..especially some of the newer ones coming out this summer.
I (we) study them very closely of course, and will surely test them too.
But I cant say for sure, which is the best. There're so many new ones coming along too,..we'll have to wait and try them out.

I dont have the distributor/reseller list with me,..and I dont think its completed yet.
You'll probably be able to buy it in Sweden, I would think so
It would be obvious to have distributors there.

What about here in Norway? Are you planning to sell it here? It is so much more easier if I could buy it here than ordering via e.g. Expansys.com...

Hi Johan,..I think Norway will have resellers too.
BUT as I said before, I havent seen the complete list of distributors.
I dont know if the "sales-dept" plan a complete "world-release" right from the beginning.
I'll try to get hold of a list, to see which countries are included from the start-up phase

Thanks for the info, Jan. I am really looking forward to trying this headset.. which is more like an ear-set =)
I would also like to see a "left-ear" version.. |

Your welcome Kevin
Yeah, we've discussed the left-ear version too,..but at the moment its not possible, because of the way Bluespoon is built.
We had to consider the fact that like 80-85% uses right ear, and therefore we chose this.
By the way,..I'm a left-ear user too
Its mostly a question of "adapting". And I can use it on right ear, just gotta get used to it
The only problem would be people, that cant hear properly with their right ear.
The left-ear version might come later on...could be a possibility

Hi Dan > No "real price" has been set yet,..but it will be about the same as the rest of the bluetooth headsets.
I'll try to get hold of the distributors list,..to see which countries are included from "day one"
