For the 99th time(some people should read a little bit):
BROD can occur at ANY time even after 2 months and even if your phone has no reboot at all...

Well, f*** you SE. I just had my second BROD. Really sudden, no other resets in the past month. I had R1EA037. The phone was on the table, nobody was using it.

I managed to start the phone again only after a reflash from DaVinci.

So 3 f*** yous to SE:

1. For not being able to correct this shitty problem YET.
2. For not offering for free what DaVinci offers for 10 euros.
3. For losing all my data every time this crap phone decides to die.

These guys at SE are really big imbeciles.
Once you start down the path,
forever will it dominate your destiny!!!

I flashed my unbranded to R1EA037
so far seems to be fine.
Althought the Activity key (the shorcuts key) isn't working.

Now when i go to service tests and press the key, says Menu activity, which means nothing is wrong with the key itself but with the firmware.
Do you guys have the same problem?

Right after R1C, means R1D and R1E are succeptible to have the BROD.

Mine came with R1C037 but I end up updating with SEUS because some java issues and speed was kinda slow.
Now (with R1E) is fine, no reboots whatsoever but I'm afraid that BROD is coming anytime soon, just like a scary thing.

In theory, you must pay credits (about 12 USD) to flash your main firmware and file system.

To buy credits on Kulankendi you must use paypal (i have not seen option for credit card).

For me its confusing too, i want to know everything i must do before pay. The site use technical terms like "CID" etc... I only know i have a K850i with brod and i want to flash it. I dont know what kind of CID it have.

Greetings

FYI guys:
CID is like a protection DRM issued for Sony Ericsson phones.

I believe the K850 has CID 53, like W910 and many A200 platform phones.

K750 has CID 36
W810 has CID 49
K800 and K810 have CID 52

Right now, the CID 53 protection hasn't been fully broken so programs like XS++ doesn't work with CID 53 phones.

My experience using KulanKendi:
- get at least 70 percent battery life. Take out SIM card and M2.
- buy a credit via paypal
- download KK SE Client, save it in D drive, and run KK SE Client
- press get login button, fill in the form to get password
- enter login and password, check account.
- click download. Pick up R1EA031 K850 CHINA MAIN CID 52.min and R1EA031 APAC ANZ.fsm. Download them, wait until transfer completed.
- go to DB3150 or A2 tab. Tick Finalisation, clear user code, reset call timer and change CDA to 1201-8437. This CDA is for Customised Indonesia which is SEUS-Friendly.
- open file MAIN and FS. They are located in FlashFiles folder in D drive, the same folder you place your KK SE Client.
- instal USB Flash Driver for K850i. You should get it automatically by running SEUS until the step when you hold C and release C.
- go back to KK SE Client. Click Flash Phone, hold C , plug in DCU-65 and wait until KK reads your phone identity, release C, and....let KK do its job. Do not interrupt the process.
At least 12 minutes afterwards it's all done. KK SE client will display 'all is done'
- unplug DCU-65
- take out battery, reinsert, turn on phone, wait until you see insert SIM Card or view demo.
- run SEUS, update to R1EA037.
- good luck.

I didn't have a BROD but a flashed with Da Vinci to upgrade my handset. It was soo... easy, i could actually do it with my eyes closed. Purchase credits, create account, download client, connect phone and your away. It costs 10euro, £8, $16. Very easy.
ONE THING, when finished, and turning phone on again, be very patient, my phone displayed the 'Please Wait' Notice for about 2 mins whilst it sorted everything out, very worried that £140 was going to disapear before my eyes, worked simlessly. Upgraded to 031 using SEUS, been going strong for a week now...

i di what you said but cant create a account to log in have i done somthing wrong i purchaced credits from davinchi but cant create a account
