@kreacher
Lets hope not, But I think the K850's successor will utilise an Exmor, or Bionz branded sensor - right now, I thinkwe are looking at an OEM Ericsson sensor - which is fair enough, im sure they have taken onboard the K850i's poor sensor (My T650i delivers more vibrant colours than my K850i!).
So, no its not an Exmor/Bionz sensor.
Sony Alpha.

Well, when for them release & have a test for it, sometimes CMOS also can get better photo if the CMOS sensor is good in quality. As we can compare the same megapixel CMOS sensor.. |

I read that the x1 has vga resolution @ 30frames/sec. - so I think a new top-line cybershot ought to have it too. |

Gotta say i love the c702!
tbh when I first saw the c702 in the spypics I thought it was really ugly, but especially after seeing images of the black version its design is quickly growing on me, so now I've really got to agree with you on how good it looks
Anyway, a few questions regarding the c702 if anyone knows...
-As it has A200 (well I assume it has from the buttons) does this mean that it will have an accelerometer?
-And also, how does anyone think its camera will compare to current 3.2 mp cybershot range phones? |

looks like c702 will have the same camera module as k800/k810. the aperture of the camera is just like k800 (bigger than k770)

the c702 is for me, it claims to be dust proof hopefully it won't collect dust like my old k750 & k800 which are dust magnits.
hopefully it will use a sony cam module and not a micron one, i just hope the cam performs better than my k800i so i can buy it. |

Well as long as the camera is at least equal in performance to the k800 / k810 this sure will be my next phone. On top of the good camera there is also gps, splash resisatance and a really good design imo. Now it just needs to be realesed soon so I can buy it |

besides the similarity with k800/k810, this rugged cybershot has better video recording capability than k800/k810. plus it runs A200 Ui!
so we have psp-like media interface, mega bass, ability to save sms on M2 etc.
sweet!

C902 will cost 300 euro and entering the market in May.
C702 will cost 220 dollars and entering the market in early May.
*update of K850 will appear in autumn (with optical zoom)
So C902= K850 redesign?
