@EddieAdams

When you plug in your headphones in the 3.5m jack you get a message microphone activated and as it is in a car mount i just talk and the microphone picks up my speech and the sound comes through my Headphones. If i was walking i would either have to move the phone nearer my face or use the supplied adapter instead but personally it works fine the way it is and the adapter has never been used at all. I'd rather not have to use an adapter when i can plug it straight in and it works well for me this way especially when in a vehicle driving.

No there is no cover but then i have never and will never put my device in a pocket they always get a good qaulity leather case and remain mint until sold because of this. But what suits some of us may not suit all.

Marc

@tesssst

Peter Kay also sells phones on this site, so take that into account when reading any of his post. He did a nice review a while ago on a proto W960i he had acquired, which he later sold. He made it sound like the best thing since sliced bread. I knew he would be selling it as I read his review and subsequent post, so I was very critical and discerning of everything he posted, as should you all when reading anything anywhere (either on the internet or in a book, just because it's written doesn't make it FACT, especially in this day and age with the internet and everyone's access to it!) irregardless of who the author is and whatever type of "expert" they may claim to be in that particular area (especially on THIS PARTICULAR SITE!). It's called "spin" (bullshit, or lying in plain english if you prefer), something most of us Americans are now all to well aware of, and are taught about in high school English class. My point, take everything he says with a grain of salt. He's well known on this site and sells a lot of protos before they are officially released, or so I've gathered. He has both a good rep and a good business going here, that I'm going to go out on a limb and guess he values.

Totally hypothetical question: What if after the W960i is released and it turns out that it's a total piece s@%$? Will Peter Kay just sit back and just say nothing, watching his "good name" go down the toilet as people start to complain about the same W960i he just praised to all high hell? What would you do in his place? Wouldn't you want to protect the good name and business you'd spent so long establishing?.....

People here (read the SE zealots) value his opinion, especially when it falls in line with what they want to hear and believe about a particular unreleased SE product. To answer your original question a few pages back, yes, SE does pay him, in a way..... The lesson learned here? Don't believe everything a guy says about a phone on a website one minute if he's only going to try to sell it to you the next. And above all, remember we are just guest on a SE fan site after all.....

I just checked the manual at sonyericsson supportsite and i was wondering where is the instruction of calendar and alarmclock?

Is there a bigger manual in the box with phone or just the same?
