Had 037 since last Friday.
Still not good with the cam or Bluetooth.
This new FW in the next 10 days... is it 037 or a better build ?
Considering dumping SE and going Nokia for the first time since the 6210 was around. |

The New Firmware I cant say what its going to be, It has been mentioned on here already that its going to by 038, However I just dont know. i have tried to find out from my sources, but they arnt sure either.
Regarding Build Quality, I havnt had a major build quality with any of the 3 phones i have had, however the 3rd one i do have is def better screwed together, it feels so much better |

I'm not quite sure what you mean. If you have no issues with the build quality, and no hardware issues, I wouldn't go to the hassle of having it changed. But if you're in your 28 days and there's something physical that's going to bug you, then do it. Just be prepared that a replacement could be worse...

what i mean is its perfect software and hardware/build quality wise apart from the plastic thing above the screen - covers earpiece, front cam etc...is slightly raised where it meets the screen and can be pressed down...its nto easy enough to be pressed by my ear so wouldnt have any effect during calls
I guess all phones have the occasional creak, niggle etc...I will probably keep it as long as it wont affect the phone long term if anyone knows that?

Ah, I see. I don't think it'll cause you any problems, but creaks are annoying, especially when they're on the earpiece.

And what are your experiences with bluetooth headsets and hands free on a TomTom for example ?
Mine is shite - crackling or no audio (even though the headset bleeps to say a call hs been made and sent to the headset), drop outs and repeated audio (not an echo though).
1st two K850's were Ok in this respect.

Hmmm, I don't know whether to jump ship to the N95 now or wait until the firmware.
Don't wanna be stuck with a Nokia for 18 months while all K850i users have got awesome new bug-free firmware! |

Well, I'm sorry to have to say that my 5th K850 is no longer perfect (after just one day). The screen is lose, top and bottom right - very annoying when on the phone and pressing the touch buttons.
I just don't know what to do...

The 5th . .
I would leave it bake ... and try out other brands.. Else wait few months, then then problem shall be solved..

@sebby i guess that means i'll keep mine...i can live with a slightly raised earpiece plastic and slightly creaky back cover hinge(joticed that when i was gonna take it back) than suffer one with worse problems

Tomorrow after work I'm going to go to Oxford Street (a big store). This is my last chance anyway as my 28 days are up on Monday. After that it'll have to be repair, which I hate.
It's such a shame because I love this phone. But I can't live with something like a lose screen.
