A small proportion of P1 users experience the transparency problem with LinkBoy as described above. Unfortunately so far it was impossible to determine the reason. Please contact our support by Email if you think you can help delimiting the problem.

With pleasure, I just came back from holydays, let me do some tests on it (changing themes and so on) and I'll send a mail with a report.

I think there are still a lot of bugs. I've just installed the 1.40 version for the first time to P1i. The transparency doesn't work. It's green or black. And when I get back to today screen from another screen linkboy shortcuts disappear

But I'm sure these bugs can be fixed at next versions.

Hi!

I have the same problem with the black background instead of transparency.

Can I perhaps help you to solve the problem? Which infos do you need?

LinkBoy 1.50 has been released.

The major new feature in this version is the "Today screen", that is listing of upcoming calendar events over the Standby screen. Today's events are highlighted in bold typeface, and later events are listed as well (so, it is actually more than a Today screen). The event list is displayed upon executing (clicking) an Event shortcut.

Further highlights:
- Full text display of Note shortcuts (upon clicking).
- New Active item type: Time and date.
- Support for passing application parameter from shortcuts (used with BL Starter).
- Selectable right softkey action for P990 in flip-closed mode.
- Improved behavior with the Standby application's Today menu.

As usual, this is a free upgrade for registered users, and a free trial for everyone. Comments are welcome. Enjoy!

Linkboy 1.50 is unusable! It causes restarts of my phone (for better performance) again and again!

The Phone shows a message shortly before rebooting: "Dumpfile created!"
Is this file usefull for you? If yes, where is it located?

More details needed. First of all, what is the indication that LinkBoy causes the restart, and not something else? LinkBoy surely does not emit a "Dumpfile created!" message. What phone do you have? What do you do before the phone restarts?

Just booted phone (P1i R9K009 no other applications launched) crashes in the settings dialogs (no special one: sometime when changing group sometimes in options).

I'm relatively sure that it's Linkboy that crashes the phone, because after downgrade to v1.40 everything is fine.

Please try the following. Backup your current LinkBoy shortcuts from the More/Shortcuts menu. Then issue a Reset shortuts command from the same menu. You will have the default shortcuts then. Test if still there is any crash like earlier. Try setting up shortcuts similar to the previous ones. Let me know what happened.

Hmm... no improvement!

I resetted my shortcuts, but although my phone restarts.
But now I noticed, that the restarts happen during normal usage.
It's a mystery to me...
