I've just worked it out.
To my embarrassment I was slightly covering the light sensor.
Thank god for that! I thought I had a duff one for a sec!

the pics on the posters is with pure flash (took them last night in maximum darkness....realy impressed with k850 flash functions)

use rapidshare or some other file host - youtube resamples the video afaik, so quality and metadata may not be correct.

It's amazing that it doesn't over expose and make those closeup night pictures of the posters totally white!
