Yeah i hear yah sapporobaby, i'm slightly bemused as to why you can't fit all your vitriol into just the ONE post however. i think we ought to agree to disagree at this point.

No harm dude. Your like of SE, mine as well, and our mutual likes will hopefully drive both manufacturers to make better phones.
Disagreement is good. I used separate posts to try and give each post individual attention. Just manners I guess.

Se is doing fine.
100 bucks says you'll be worshiping those features once the next SE phone has them.
You just lost a 100 bucks then, shouldn't waste your money like that because those features haven't made me worship my n95 and you don't know me.

n95 is only a good phone if you download 100mb files on hsdpa on the go regularly, record plenty of video, need plenty of high quality pics, rely on it to be your gps instead of an accurate tomtom and can recharge it very often.
But for internet surfing, emails, good quality pics when you need it, as a phone (long battery life), better mp3 player quality (subjective) and build (candybar) the P1i is better.

Your entire post is subjective and based solely on your myopic view. Sales of the N95 say otherwise.
SE is being buried alive by one phone.
Where did I say n95 isn't a good phone? I said its special features are not as important as everyone thinks.
If se is being buried alive by the n95, where can I find the stats for n95 outselling the entire total of se range put together.

sapperboy, are you having a laugh? I have seen the n95 in actions. Its better than anything SE will have in a long time, this includes p1. As I said I have seen on my mates n95 how fast the internet is, its 3 times faster than 3g. The p1 is no way near as good as n95. Period! |

No offence, but since you brought up N95s "sales" I think its fair enough you also provide your sources.
I do not doubt N95 is selling well, but that particular link shows N95 at second place for contract handsets, but is no where to be found among the prepay handsets, so how is number of sold units divided between contract and prepay handsets in UK ?

Ok, this is something people are gonna learn the hard way. All I know is surfing the internet or a site like esato, gprs and 3g can load quick enough that you don't have feel like your waiting and you can surf for more longer than hsdpa where you have to stop in middle of surfing because of battery low warnings. |

@Kingbooger,
I have no idea what you are talking about. No where did I say SE was better than the N95. Time to pull the old head ........

Let me see, today is May 18th, and the N95 has been on sale for oh, say 6 or 7 weeks. A normal sales quarter has how many weeks in it? Let's say 12 or 13 depending. So, your answer should come in about 5 or 6 weeks. Get back with me then.
Second, that link, came from a link already posted on this site. If I found it, you can too.

@londonlad123
Could you please explain why HSDPA is going to use so much more battery than 3G, if anything it will use less as you won't be online for so long downloading the same amount of Data.

you fail to understand simple english. i said now you're saying these features are useless, but once SE in cooperates into their next phone, the same features, you'll be all "wow SE has wifi GPS ....." |

hehe. my point was about the double standards. if SE doesnt have it, we dont need it. if SE has it, we cant live without it. |

Fair enought, but I doubt you will be able to see sale figures for individual phones and hence does not know how much N95 has contributed with to the total sales.

That was not the point. You brought up the N95 sales and hence have something to prove here. Therefore I also think its fair you also present your sources as londonlad123 requested, otherwise this talk is pointless (it does not lead anywhere).

Uhhhhh.... I think the source was presented. It's called a URL. I pasted it there to see.
Straight from esato ------------> http://www.esato.com/news/article.php/id=1638. It took all of 11 seconds to find it again.
