The announcement says from Q3 so that could be from August at the earliest.
I will put this on my shopping list. I currently use my T610 as my weekend phone but I think this deserves to be in my pocket too

Just for comparison the dimensions of this phone are:
T650i - 104 x 46 x 12.5 mm
W880i - 103 x 46.5 x 9.4 mm
Only 3mm difference in the thickness but overall very similar.

just want to know 12.5mm incl the camera lens? if it's means without the lens (phone body) its about 10.5mm ? |

Good point matey. I'll see if I can find out.
EDIT: Couldn't find anything on MR but actually, looking at the phone I would say without the lens it is 12.5mm.

Hmm... its from SE official website isnt it?
SE official "usually" measure the thickness from the thickest part of the phone imo, see the K800 is 2.2cm while mine is also 2.2 incl. the cameralid, but excluding extra 1mm for the keypad 17mm without the lid
however for K810 and P990, they state both are 17mm and 25mm thick, which give me a big doubt about K810. well, for P990 i believe its without the keypad... what do you think?
EDIT: off topic, oh my,,, i just realize, the keypad is exactly the same as the rumoured K850. i just hope the Real K850 not to use it...

I just hope they've managed to fit a decent diameter speaker in there! Especially as they've lost the 'play/pause' button! i'm also concerned about no m2 flap...Big pain with lg shine swapping cards(if back cover attaches similarly, that's also awkward)...And finally, i don't know why, but considering w850 and 880 use the same processor, and 880 has more ram, it's slower than 850!! Hope this is not the case with 650...

i have held both the W880 and the T650, and the T650 is thicker at the phone part. the cam only slightly sticks out.

@batesie
did you test the loud speaker? is it loud? decent quality? id like for it to little louder than k800 but little more bass too...
how about compared to w880?
cheers

I think that as long as keeps talking this phone up as the spiritual replacement to the T610 then this is gonna be a huge hit.
I think the T610 in particular is one of those phones that has a lot of fans and although the T650i might not have the same impact that the T610 did, ( the competition has caught up! ), its clearly designed to pick up from where its predecessor left off.
Its been a long time coming.
