Hi Boba,

There really is no getting used to it at all, it just sits nicely in your hand and off you go no learning curve required everything is well placed and logical to use. Not sure about crisper as i really do rate the N93 screen as being very very good. But this is just so much larger it makes things just so easy Calendar is the most noticeable and of course Web browsing followed by of course pictures and Video as they look really good especially as they now have more room to be displayed in.

There really is no way i can go back to my N93 now so it is going to be sold and i will get a Sony DSC-T50 for my picture and video needs.

@maggflodd

Massive thumbs up just wish i had used one earlier, well at least now i understand what all the fuss is about. Selling my N93 as there is just no going back once you have used this device. I would imagine the i version is even better if that's possible but i will get a dedicated camera instead as that will suit my needs better.

Hi guys I’m trying to see E61/E62/E61i live but I can’t find anywhere without store. But it is not possible to run these three phones one by one at store. So I need your help for some information. Currently I’m using P990i but it hasn’t EDGE, I’ve contact for unlimited package with service provider, so I’m also use EDGE from my PC. Without edge support P990i is useless here, so I have to use my Nokia 6630. But from handset (6630), internet browsing isn’t good. So I decided to get one of these phones. My points are these aren’t big deal to me that, 3G, Wi-Fi, camera. But need excellent video player and mp3 player. I decided to go for E62. But in this thread I read that E61i has clear and vivid screen over others two. That is most important for video. So I’m little bit confused. So guys who already has these phones, could you please give me some advice that which one should I go for. My another question is: what is processor speed and amount of ram of these phones? Is there any website that records the hardware information of mobile phone?

@adnansanni,
e62 not available where I live, and e61i not out yet.... Can only talk about e61 which I, obviously, "love" - I wasn't joking when I said I'd rather take a 61i than any other 2 phones for free! And as the "i" isn't out here, the same apllies to ordinary (:wink:) e61... And I also own N91 and treo 750v - both have features superior to e61, but overall e61 wipes the floor...
Screen: fantastic, video perfect - you can actually watch a whole movie on it on journeys etc, and enjoy it! Sound much better than my wife's w810... Internet speed is good even without 3g reception - using operamini it's almost as fast as the so-called broadband we have at work...
Battery life's very very good... But yeah, I love the screen - brightness on lowest setting you can still comfortably read webpages in sunny daylight - with my old k750i on a sunny day I couldn't even see if the phone's on on a sunny day!!!

oh and I often use it as a modem for my laptop...works great... And overall: in 7 months zero problems (even after I left it on my car's roof one day, drove off and it overtook me... Just had to reinsert memory-stick - o.k. The krusell helped, but still...my treo is waywayway more sensitive)

@adnansanni...

The E61 and E62 r the same handset... just for different regions they renamed lol...

As far as which one to go for....

If u want a camera then the E61i is the one as the standard non i version doesnt have one... I woulda happily gone for the E61i even if it didnt have the camera as its a lot slimmer (feels more slim than it did on the first day lol) and the battery has lasted me 3 days from its first charge and i've really been hammering it usage wise.... Take today... I have done bout 2-3hrs of wifi use an played some NES games whilst messing about with themes etc and its only just now gone down two bars!!!

The screen on the i version seems slightly brighter at the same brightness and wen outside today in the sunshine it was a pleasure to read the txt as it shows up amazingly!!!

I cant stop playin with ma new E61i as its amazin but at the same time i still hold a flame for the E61 as it is also an amazin device!!!

COME JOIN THE E61 REVOLUTION!

@adnansanni,

Previously my main phone was a N93 which has a 330mhz processor and just over 22mb of free RAM on start up and music playback and video were both excellent. Now although the E61 only has a 206mhz processor it has more free Ram a little over 23mb it is just as fast as the N93 also. It's music and video playing abilities are every bit as good as the N93 just on a much bigger screen. I have been so impressed with it i am actually now selling my N93 as just can't see myself using anything else.

for some strange reason... which i cant figure out the E61i i'm using has all of sudden (today anyway) gone from havin about 19-20Mb of RAm on startup to having between 23-27Mb of Ram without me doin nethin lol... All i did was switch on a couple of active standby apps and thats all lol...

Anyhoo... i've finally jus managed to setup VNC viewer on the phone so now wen am away an ma bro decides he wants to use MY computer to look at porn i can log onto the comp without him knowin and close the apps down with a quick key press lol... all done via wifi or 3G

God i love this phone!
