I updated my phone and I checked the firmware if it got properly.
I surprised that my phone has got 2 CDA's
162011/1 R1A13
162014/1 R6A13
Why?
And I tried update again, but SEUS is say UPDATE NOT AVAILABLE
I couldn't flushing to my phone any more.
What's happening!!
If I delerted some files (DEMO,SOUNDS,PICTURES etc) from my phone, how to recovery them? |

Just upgraded my world gen 2 W950i
CDA162014/2 R6A13
startup RAM went from 19.?MB to 22.6MB
ever since I last upgraded my phone frequently crashed when pressing one of the buttons on the top 'toolbar' (such as the keyboard icon).
Hopefully this will be fixed with the new firmware. |

I'm here in the U.S
CDA /3 -- Italy/swiss
I updated my W950 this morning using the U.K option when selecting a country. It detects a new firmware to install so i let it do it. A couple of times where it stalled for a few minutes around 27% and sometimes around 65% but it went all the way through. I performed a master reset after the firmware flash and now i have the latest R9F011 firmware
Phone: R9F011
Bluetooth: R3A01
Org: R6A16
CDA: /3
My experiences so far:
That memory leak deal is still there. Even though you close the program and make sure its close using the task manager, the memory keeps dropping down. I've only used my phone for about 2 hours playing music, downloading 2 themes, and checking my SMS message consistenly...I've manage to get from startup 22.6mb down to 11.0mb of space.
Transitions are off by default
The mega bass option when listening to MP3 sounds a little more "thumpier" to me...but maybe its just a placebo that i'm experiencing with new firmware updats.
Seems a tad bit faster when surfing the WAP using GPRS. We dont have access to 3G in the US so i cant test that out
Noticable difference with the speakerphone. It seems much more louder than before.
Still experiencing the KERN-EXEC error code when trying to access the "Application Shop" under multimedia.

My phone updated fine, I have same firmware details as walmsley_d above.
What I don't understand is SEUS is still promting me to update the firmware (it does not say update is not required!) when I run SEUS again.
However, further flashing results in no change in firmware details!!!?? Anyone else experiencing this, is this normal?? |

Does anyone knows what region CDA 162017/28 is? That is the CDA of my W950. My problem is that i cant update my phones firmware anymore. SE Update Service says there is no new version.
When the first update arrived it went great and my phone version is now R9EA001.
I bought my phone in NL and it wasn't branded. |

Updated from o2 brand CDA/29 to World Generic /1 last night using KulanKendi, worked a treat, and SEUS upgraded me to R9F011 no problems within about 15 minutes.
No real changes yet, but i'm sure i'll pick some up as i go along... |

I see that the new m600 fw has made some improvements for what concerns the sounds volume...and i really dont understand why they dont do something about the w950i volume...is a walkman phone ffs...

guys, better test some wma and wmv files...they are working on P990 with new firmware, so the new w950 firmware should also support those
