if can break into your filesystem then can get files from it directly
dont know what model you have but see if its supported

can someone tell me how to get this tone?
the links only seem to like to a page stating "A file is waiting to be downloaded:" and "You have reached your daily download limit (1GB). "
advise please?

Alright, I've found the file after much trouble. If I'm not wrong, it's actually the Vista shutdown tone, but it sounds pretty good as a text alert. Here you go: Vesper text alert.
As the file will be available for only seven days, I hope those of you who manage to download it will be kind enough to re-upload it for the others who may have missed it. Thanks.

Hmm... I haven't had the chance to listen to the original, so I'm also not very sure how close it is to the original. Anyway, I don't know if we'll ever get the original file.
