@kwabs - For me, the Silver is the BEST ! The black is soooooooo common and looks like it's ONLY elegantly looking at - NIGHT !

@miss uk, my phone is working fine so far, have not (touch wood) encountered any problems with it yet. Regarding the media player issue, whenever I launch it, the volume is set at half of the maximum. I'd say that it's good in a way cos in case you previously exited from the media player at max volume, this prevents you from damaging your ears when using your earphones (or just getting a very nasty shock) the next time.
As for the firmware, I'm not sure if it's such a good idea to upgrade to the latest. Here's a thread that you might wanna check out before deciding if you really want to go ahead with the f/w upgrade.

@miss uk, you're welcome regarding the link, it was no trouble at all. As for how the volume should be like, I really have no idea either. It seems to me that even though our firmware versions are the same, there may be different customisations for different regions. I'm not too sure about that, but it's just a guess. Has your phone been giving you any other problems?

. . . OK, so I just decided to return/refund the SILVER - K750i that I just got . . . Looks like it's a COMMON problem with that model to go BERSERK (hangs/freezes) everytime a 1 or 2 GB card is INSERTED (regardless of the firmware version . . . ). I've tested a 512 MB on my previous - Black though and NO problem was encountered . . . they say though that it's not a 100% problem with the K750i . . . but a number of cases were reported about it
Now, my problem is WHERE to use the Sony Pro Duo - High Speed 1 GB that I just bought . . . some says that it won't work with the P910i as well (isolated case or what . . . . . )
@miss UK - The D750i looks like another color-version of the W800i Really the same !

Yeah my first Sony Ericsson was a K750, which my dad now has, and well it's a brilliant phone. I now have a K800, it's everything the K750 was but slightly better. W800 I think is ugly and I 'think' most would agree with me.

Heh... I won't say the W800's ugly, but I prefer my K750 anytime. Glad to know you're enjoying your K800.

No the phone is ok...
it's only the Media player giving me a lil jip only the once tho,
it kinda froze up and I had to take the battery out to get it back to normal
JoJo. Yep it's alot like the W800i but the software is terrible on it, it's totally covered in T-Mobile branding right left and centre
Resident. Yep make the moist of it cos im going back to a SAMSUNG at Xmas

I like my K750i, it is the best phone I ever had, and I won't change it untill SE releases 5 MP phone, with real Xenon flash, dvd video quality recording, A2D...all in K750i sized phone.
Check this thread, I think it will be interesting for most of you K750i owners.
