@addiecool
looks like you have a corruption which a clearing out of RAM does not fix. Sorry, the best option is a Master Reset WITHOUT restore from back-up, you'll need to re-sync with outlook to recover the PIM data and then add all the other settings. Sorry can't see any other options

I am having really big problems with all messaging in the phone with the new firmware. If I get a message, sms, mms or email it compleatly hangs up the phone. Anyone else experiancing this?

Observation from M600 themes thread: standby 'settings' icon shows P990! Is this correct for all handsets/firmware versions??

My phone has been handling email and sms without any glitches, at least so far.

@Jah
Did a master reset and reinstalled everything.
Still the same problem. Restart times are longer than R1B but still there in R3A/
I even tried with a clean phone wihtout installing anything. Still happens. Also Call noise issue is there which appeared in R3A. in R1B it was fine for me. so it is not a hardware fault. Looks like we have to wait for a better refined firmware. |

Yes I just did a reflash today morning. Waiting to see how it goes. For now everything seems fine. Did the following
1. Charged the battery to 100%
2. Formated the Memory card
3. Reflashed the phone.
4. reinstalled everything
I will update on how it goes. |

It takes as long as 30 seconds to save a password in the web application using the Password Manager (e.g. when you visit Esato.com for the first time and login) - this seems like a long time.
Also, the PlayNow app crashed on me yesterday. Now I think this app also uses an app like Password Manager. When you attempt to buy a music track you are given the option Yes or No to buy the track. I selected 'No' and this resulted in the app crashing - I could not end the process from the task manager. In the end I had to restart the device.
I am using R3A

I noticed that password save delay. seems inordinately long doesn't it.
apart from that I've decided to sell my k-jam when it comes back from its minor repair and live with the M600 until the HTC Hermes becomes available. I'm actually finding myself questioning getting that as my main phone as I'm not missing wifi too much and I just love the size of this thing.
now, I bet you never thought you'd hear me say that!

Well it depnds on what you're talking about
Seriously though, I 100% agree about thw size of he M600 and for me the usability is also great. With 3G I'm not sure wifi is needed so will be interesting when I have to make a decision on the P990

The problem was the initial unusability of the phone..With the new very stable firmware one is finding it difficult to replace this phone..The design, new OS and size are difficult to beat..
I am having difficulty carrying my K800 at the moment as i am mising my M600..... |
