killing MobilePrint
go to FS/tpa/preset/system/ams and delete MOBILEPRINT.jad and MOBILEPRINT.jar and have additional 361kb free memory. Unnecessary standard games & midlets are in FS/tpa/preset/default/java and to be deleted if you wish. In FS/tpa/preset/wizard you can delete 5 biggest by size GIF files.

OK, I'm intrigued by this. Assuming I am brave enough to do so, can I use this to change the CDA on my UK Voda-customized K750i, then run it through SEUS to remove the customization? This would allow me to get the latest firmware, and to remove the DRM issue, would it not? If so, what CDA should I use?

Interesting...

Tom

Anyone know whether this would work?

@tomchadwin

I am not sure that SEUS just uses the CDA number to determine what firmware to install on your phone. I think it might use the IMEI number too, although I am not sure.

It would be worth a go though . Changing the CDA is pretty easy and completely reversable. See my K750/W800 firmware overview thread for some common UK CDAs, or I believe that www.topsony.com has a pretty comprehensive list of CDAs. I think I made such a list once, but I don't know where it is now

Thanks for the input, Mike. Do I remember reading on here that that is only the case for the W800i, and not for the K750i? That was why K750s flashed to W800 could no longer use SEUS, because SEUS checks the IMEI on W800s, but not on K750s. Or did I misunderstand?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this. I'm a bit reluctant to try this unless I'm a bit more confident I won't trash something in the process...

Thanks

SEUS won't recognize k750 with w800 soft properly, cause IMEI is somwhere in phone's memory and is strictly assigned to phone's model.
There is no known way (for me) to change IMEI.
