Well it doesn't make sense because this was just the concept design at the time and a cybershot phone has only just come out now.

what a fortune, that it wont be relesead as an sE fone. as a sony fone it would be ok, but to see ERICSSON on it, would be a shame...
no offence for the designers, but it looks really cheap...

THis phone was released as the Naldi VIPN Black Diamond. It is a Windows Mobile Phone and costs US$300,000.00.

It has diamonds etc. etc. included in it. The center jog dial is a diamond, and at the back where there is normally a Sony Ericsson symbol is another diamond.
It is on page 82 of the September 2006 PC Magazine.
No. This is not a joke. Visit the Black Diamond website for more information. The images are all flash so I can't attach any here.

| About the diamonds:
In contrast to other luxury phones, Black Diamond doesn't just dazzle, but has real value which outlasts the phone's life span. Fitted with only two diamonds - a small one on the navigation joystick and one on the back-side of the phone - style , luxury and the conciousness for quality are demonstrated. We are talking about a larger than 2 carat, highest quality diamond where all experts agree that cut, colour and clarity reach the highest grades of the scale. A GIA certificate with the certificate number engraved on the diamond by a laser is included.
The diamonds are provided by Diamanthaus of Switzerland and are guaranteed to be conflict free.
