i've tried it on my z520 able to use file manager and delete protected files...i'm having one problem though, it doesnt show the themes folder in the file manager...is anyone else having this problem? how do i fix it? |

Dude, the official opera mini works with airtelwap.com APN. I ve been using it for the past 4 months on that apn. Pm me with ur phone model and i ll tell ya how to set it up:) |

Hi everyone,
I have problems to use Opera Mini with Surf&Email Flat of O2 Germany. The traffic goes through a proxy that blocks the http-header/user-agent of OM.
Does somebody see any possibility to change this data?
(The same problem occorued with Opera mobile after a few changes of the http-header it worked fine)

This one's even bigger.....You can make an enire folder of pics, audio or whatever look completely empty! Here's how-
Go into the file manager, choose the folder off pics you want to try it on(make a new one for testing), press more then attributes on that folder, untick readable and move back up to hidden(important), prees more then ok. After the user prompts minimise opere with 9 and go into the folder you just edited using your phones manager, it'll say no files in this folder!!!
Retick readable to reverse the process, don't forget to move up to hidden here as well.

i tried to use this to test if the files are hidden. it works, but after some time (like an hour after...) the files shows up again. why is it that? thanks! |

Can u tell me how do I resume download in this browser mod? I was downloadin a file on my W800i when accidentally I pressed the BACK button & the page displayed on the browser was the page where the link was present & I had pressed 1 on. But try as I may I cudnt get to the screen that was showing the download progress bar. I had selected RESUME INTERRUPTED option before I started downloading the file. If I try to press 1 on the link again it starts a new download, askin if I want to re-write a file that exists with the same (this is the semi-downloaded file)

The Download Resume WORKED!!! I dont know why it didnt work the first thou I almost did all the same things I do now! Whatever, must have missed something!
Secondly,
Is there a way to contact the author or least give him suggestions for future improvements. I really need some sort of download queue so I can BATCH my downloads overnite. That wud make it a plausible n elegant download manager & put an end to all my download troubles.

Can anybody out here pls confirm whether this download facility works in the se k700i. If its possible then what are the steps of doing it. When I press the 1 key, I only get a screen with edit option & copy,paste, link info in the more column.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanx in advance. |

hi every 1..... I am using Nokia 6021.......I 've downloaded opera mini...on my phone.....but guys its not working....i mean whenever i type ne address ......it jus shows processing but it is nt getting connected to the network......i can surf all sites using normal phone browser......but through opera it is nt possible......Can ne 1 pls help me........Thank you........ |

The above problem sound like a network issue. Have you checked you have the correct gprs account selected in java settins? I dunno with Nokias.
Downloads won't work with the k700, only the k750 and onwards really.
The link is right there in mini opera to contact the author. It's the one above Bookmarks on the homepage, with a little browsing you'll find his ICQ number. Dunno if he speaks English though? As I said, it's all Russian in there.
Oh yeah, a bug i've noticed is I lose ALL my bookmarks whenever I launch another Java game! Just as well I exported them though. Is this the same for anyone else?

And dear hack-designer, next time can't you leave out the dodgy bookmarks and links tied to the opera mod - I can't be the only one (I hope) who doesn't want links to illegal (or not...) Porndownloads on his/her/its phone-browser!
Can't you make some advert.-money from clean, decent and useful products like bibles or C4...(just a joke, peterkay, just a joke...)

I don't think you can view the OMS files on a PC. I think they are GZipped or something?
Only way to save and view on a pc is to savethe link to a page with the 1 button. But I don't think this saves images? |

Version 119 is now available. You can now open iso's on your phone lol!
You can also organise your bookmarks into folders, and export your colour settings.

Yo, just noticed 119 - phew... Hardly over the last one! Is it worth gettin' or should we wait for v999 (poor opera guys working on their own update, how will they keep up? They 'sound' quite confidently mysterious on 'their own' forum though references to these hacks barely tolerated.)
