I'll bump that last question and also ask how readable the display is as I've decided to get one of these for myself

from what i read in m-r, it displays song names when conected with m600, but not with k800 - i guess its a firmware probleme to be sorted later

To all those people who would like to buy these headphones but unfortunatley do not have a compatible phone (like me, I have the W800i).
There is another solution to wirelessly listen to your music from whilst using your own headphones.
It involves a little 'bluetooth dongle' (FS310 or FS110 from MSI international) and also some JAVA software called Blueplayer

Wonder which one to buy. This new or the new Nokia with radio. Can you use the Nokia on a K800 and still use the radio?

Ive had mine for a week or so, havent been able to use it on my w810i as it doesnt support the mp3 player etc. But as a bluetooth headset i have to say its one of the best...at least now i dont look like a moron with a headset fdangling off my ear...rather i can now say to people im listening to some music wirelessly.
So far people have been impressed with it, i love it and cant wait to use it with the p990 whenever that makes an appearance. |

Pic of the display:-

I've been using my DS970 for the afternoon and I have to say after 3 different ebay non original headsets this is a breath of fresh air
so far I'm very happy with its operation but the final piece of info for me will be its battery life so watch this space...

@masseur, how about the song titles in the display - do you confirm they appear when used with M600 (and not with k800)???

I hadn't actually tried it on the M600 yet but since you ask (and how quick is auto pairing )
yes, I get titles displayed when using the M600 but no, not when using the K800

ok...i guess it will also work on the P990 then
and i bet it can be changed for the k800 with a future firmware

probably... but I have long since stopped predicting SE's actions and motives, but this does seem simple like an obvious omission in the K800 connectivity

I have to say that the DS970 is probably the best SE accessory I have ever bought. in multi point mode it has paired with my pc no problem and I'm streaming music from windows media player, with full control over the tracks and volume etc.
switching back to single point gives access back to my K800
excellent stuff! it just works as advertised!
