Got A1018 in gray and brown today...
@Leks label "made by Ericsson" on each phones since T29 means that the phone is made in China(sometimes such label can be found on T28s, what means that they are made in Taiwan or Malaysia).
@Bart How could SE change platform??? Isn't that stupid that Sony Ericsson uses not an Ericsson Platform?

SE is going to use the ericsson platform, but their UI is changing, its becoming more like nokia (and other phones) but they're also starting to look more like sony phones, we have sony branding, we have sony menu icons on their new phones, SE is becomming what i've feared for from day 1, SE is becoming S
i'm sure all true fans are starting to see this.

In what colors goes A1018? And their panels?

The five basic colors are granite grey, light steel blue, olive green, plum wine and savanna beige (or sahara beige, I found 2 different names). These basic color come with various front panels. A boxed phone included two panels.
There are also some fashion panels with special designs. I've got the silver one with the blue/lime wave which is shown on the first phone (left top). While normal panels don't have a window to protect the LCD, this panels does come with a window.
If anyone is interested in building a collection from all available colors: I still have a lot of complete front panels in all colors.

Starting to see?
That was obvious from the start... That's why they had MemoryStick Duo, that's why the Red Jade never came, etc.. etc....
Ericsson technology and Sony the money.. The just bought Ericsson Mobile.
But, becease Ericsson is still bilding platforms, Ericsson will live on. I think even for ever. Ericsson's thought are more with technology then with the end-user/customer...
Just let Ericsson invent en create things, so other can sell it for them (I hope Panasonic will be back on European soil with Ericsson platforms)

i've almost decided what my next phone will be, i could keep my heart to the ericsson platform and get a P1, ericsson also gets royalties from every symbian phone sold.
or go for the swedish company Neonode with its N2.
i think the N2 is abit like a pre production model for the famous RX1.
i know all of you guys love the RX1 prototype because of its design and what it could do, maby the guy who created it left and joined Neonode.
or do any of you know the guy (or woman sorry) that created the RX1?

@Bart,
Your talking in your signature about a 'sinking ship'. But, allthought I also don't like the way SE is going, SE is far from a 'sinking ship'
If you know the facts, you should know SE is going up. And will be number 3 worldwide soon.

what goes up must come down.
trust me on this one, in 2008 SE sales will start to even out, after that they'll go down.
