Indiandawg, SEUS will wipe the phone and remove root if you ask it to do a reflash. Just remember to backup your stuff before you wipe.
I have done backup on my phone but sadly SEUS is giving me error saying there is an update error. I got to try to again. I had switched of USB debugging too.

Weird, havent faced any issues in Calendar or Market, havent seen any force closes since updating, it may be better to format your phones after updating, that may help.

@Indiandawg at what stage are you getting the update error? Have you tried doing a factory reset before connecting to SEUS?
My market issues may be linked to Market Enabler which I've been using. It allows access to android markets from other areas of the world i.e. to paid apps in countries that don't have access.
I had two random restarts in the first hour of using the new FW too. Maybe I'm working it too hard when it's trying to cache up the new stuff, but it shouldn't really do that.
I'm kind of crossing my fingers that the Brazilian source who said X10 will get 2.3 in late 2011 is right. The other half of me doesn't really care because it wantsto be buy arc next month.

Didn't realise they've changed the calendar layout until this morning. Seems a bit strange making it smaller with all that space at the bottom. |

I like the new calendar look, much more refined
I'm getting a quadrant score of 480, without JiT, havn't been able to root the phone. Tried the latest from xda.
neocore: 20.6 fps

Don't really use the calendar from my phone so I don't know what's new but here goes.

No didn't do factory reset. Will try once I reach home.
Even I am tempted for Arc but I was really looking forward to front facing camera! let's see what SE has got at MWC

My update hasn't gone too well. My phone was 100% charged when I went to sleep, then 6 hours later when the alarm went off it's at 29%.
It looks like it won't even last an afternoon, I'll have to bring three fully charged batteries with me at this rate.

@goldenface
Usually when this happens, an application is sucking all the power.
It happened to me 2/3 times, open ANDROZIP or an equivalent app, check the app consuming power and kill it.

Thanks sambouka.
Just downloaded it. Is it the Pro Version that allows me to find which one is the most power hungry?

@goldenface it might just be the first short while of the phone coming up to where it wants to be in terms of caching the OS, thumbnailing pics in the gallery app(s), cataloguing mp3s, syncing up contacts, that kind of stuff as well as the stuff you don't see, just speculating.

looks like a new feature.
just hate that you can't easily create playlists in mediascape, otherwise i'd use it more.
