Sorry vin shouldn't have posted it in the first place. @shyam a friend using asianet was infected with msblaster, seems contagious.

@blu: The blaster worm won't affect you, if you have MS Antispyware or SP2. And yes, Its very contagious.

@deb tech at asianet said that my friend's pc was infected with this and 2 others. Could this be what brought asianet down?

Possibly, the blaster worm is the worst kind, it blocks the IP's of many Sites from your PC, then it closes down the processes which manage Nortan AV and many of the others, then, finally it crashes the SVChost, which causes the explorer(shell) Application to become unstable, hence causing you to restart your PC.

Yeah, i found out that in cellone, you have to pay 349/month for unlimited usage or 199 for paying as much as you use, plus 50 rs activation fee. Mms rs3 each:-(. I was thinking of moving to cellone,but the rates are ridiculous! I liked their wide network
