The time its taking to put it online, had they gone for R1L it would have been online by now. I mean problems with gprs were discovered immediately when R1J was released, it shouldent have taken them long to put a fix online if they were going for only that.
R1L only fixes gprs issues, nothing more, I'd suspect them to want to do more, rather than putting R1L online, and having to change that again pretty soon.
Wouldent be the first time Davince get hold of a firmware that never gets released on SEUS
I can be wrong of course - allthough I usually hate to admit it

@ numb, I hope you are correct. I want camera software 3.8 back (as the photo and video quality has decreased in 4.4) otherwise R1J has been fine for me.
Sucks we can't go back to R1A.

I don't have my box handy but if I remember correctly the box says the hardware version and not the firmware version.
That hardware version should match what is on the sticker inside the phone but on the K750 thats tricky to see since its no longer directly under the battery like on old models but shoved up inside the housing

@dreamfish
Good spot - my box says R2B - previous box said R1A. I've checked SWR idents, content, camera and they are they same as first phone before I flashed.
You got me thinking - maybe O2 were correct - maybe this is a new build of stable software for O2??
Full model of this new phone (on box) is:
DPY 101 2834/82 R2B EN
I suspect SE hand check each phone?? The battery was 70% charged when I got it. I checked call times etc were clear.

My operator recommends on their site against installing the current SEUS firmware.
However, my 05W25 replacement phone from SE came preinstalled with R1J002.
Oh well, I don't use GPRS anyway (although testing it, it seems to work fine). Just hope they fix the camera/video quality issues with the new firmware soon
Hardware revision on the box says DPY 101 2834/33 R2A DA,NO

Before I update the first post to mention that Orange can flash to R1J, as shown by Sebby, can any other orange users confirm that this is the case? |

Yes, can some other Orange users confirm that the SEUS still works for them?
