Yoohooo!
I found out what was going wrong.
I was telling Linker program (the one with the <-//-> icon), that i use with my P800, to listen to COM port 8. So the COM port was locked to it, and fMA couldn't use it.
Now everything's working. [addsig]

@krubach

hi, sorry to sound so dense, but did you change any settings on your p800 to get it to work with the fma? My p900 doesn't seem to get connected even if i did what you suggested.

BTW, i tried using BT and the cradle and neither method works.

Been using float 0.1.0.31.d without any probs on my T610. Hwever since rev e onwards incluing 0.1.0.32.a I get timeouts on retrieving phone status and subsequently failed. Reverted back to 0.1.0.31.d and everything is fine.

Tried increase time for timeouts but makes no difference. Anyone else experiencd this or know what the problem is?

Hi,

Even i got connected a couple of times using DCU-11 usb cable. But most times, it gets timed out.Im on a windows 2000 pc, my phones T610

Im using fma 0.1.0.33 .

These r the fma setting -- port COM 3 , BAUDRATE 115200 , RTS ENABLED, DTR ENABLED

And in device manager, its shown as USB CABLE DCU-11 on COM3 , its on the default settings -- bits per second 9600, databits 8, parity none, stop bits 1, flow control none.

Do i have to do anything else, change the settings, any registry edit ... to make the connection stable.

Or is any setting on the T610 needs to be done?

Thnkz

@pka04,

i too just now patched my fma with version 33.

there is one change u can try where my settings are as follows for serial protocol.

COM3
baudrate 115200
RTS enabled
DTR disabled (enabled in ur case..)

and some more settings might be helpful to u.. in the communication tab of the Tools\options menu.
Timeout = 15 seconds
Polling interval = 10 seconds
Protocol settings options unchecked.
Startup settings unchecked
Battery n fone state = Enable monitor and default other options enabled.
And i have checked 'Refresh txt msgs' ON.

and the rest the usual one..

gud luck..
cheers

all mophun game files and the jave game files (.jar) can be downloaded to a t610 fone from fma. and it works fine.

.

Ps: i had tried earlier for a fma <-> t230 communication. it didnt work for me. and i didn research much into it as i have t610 and fma <=> t610

@Melik,

first check where this DCU driver is installed.. COM1,COM2 or COM3..
and then point the same port number in ur fMA communication settings.

it should work fine with a serial cable too.

i have got a problem where sms messages fail to send. i don't know why as it has sent one in the past but when it sends now, it just comes up with a error message saying they failed to send. Anybody have any ideas why this might be, i am using bluetooth, but am conneced via a serial port, not the bluetooth feature on FMA as i can't find the MS driver, so it won't connect.

Help appreciated
